Western Xia Empire Tombs in Yinchuan

Yinchuan (银川; Yínchuān) is the capital of Ningxia Autonomous Region. Located on the Yellow River, it was once the capital of the Western Xia Empire. On of the main attractions to learn about this party of Chinese History is the Xixia Tombs National Park - Western Xia Tombs, These are 193 tombs of high officials of the Xia Kingdom. You can see them and a modern museum about the Xia Empire history. 🚌 How to get there? Buses leave in the morning from Xinyue Square (新月广场), 9 AM and 10 AM. Better re-check on Baidu Maps. Same buses stop by the Train Station at about half past. About 10-20 RMB each way. It's easier by taxi or car-rental. 🎫 Ticket including bus and modern museum: 80元 / 40元 for students History: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #ningxia #historicculture #museumquest #summervacation#urbanexplorer
