On the way: Yingkou - the first port in Northeast China opened to the outside world.

In the spring of March, the spring flowers should be blooming in the south, but the cold is still lingering in the north, so the March fireworks trip to the south of the Yangtze River begins! Follow the route of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal all the way to Hangzhou. The first stop was Yingkou. I had been here before. Although I was just passing by, I still wanted to walk around the main attractions. [1] Minghu Square: Because I live near Minghu Square, I went to visit it first. The square is very big and is known as the largest square in Asia. The Yingkou City Government is nearby. [2] Liaohe Old Street: This old street has a history of 150 years. It is the most representative historical and cultural block since the opening of Yingkou. It is known as the "Modern Architecture Museum". [3] West Fort: It was an important coastal defense fortress in Northeast China in the late Qing Dynasty and one of the earliest coastal defense projects in Northeast China. It was temporarily open for free when I went there. [4] Liaohe River Estuary: Just walk west for about 200 meters from the West Fort and you will arrive at the Liaohe River Estuary. This Liaohe River is actually called the "Daliao River", with large tidal flats stretching as far as the eye can see. In just half a day, I walked through the history and modernity of Yingkou, and appreciated the folk customs and natural scenery! [6] Yingkou is an excellent tourist city in China, a national forest city, and one of the four major musical instrument production bases in China.
