If you travel to Yili, be sure not to miss Liuxing Street. To facilitate the use of public transportation, we stayed near the bus station, which is very close to Liuxing Street, about a 20-minute walk according to the navigation. About Liuxing Street This is an ancient neighborhood, Liuxing Street was established in the mid-1930s, and it has a history of about 90 years. It was planned and designed by the German engineer Wasili. The entire neighborhood is formed by the intersection of Li Guang Street, Worker Street, and Sailimu Street, which radiate from the center outwards. Its buildings are mostly in the traditional Uyghur architectural style, with bright colors. On the old street, there are many themed shops with different decorations, each with its own style. The Gulandanmu century-old handmade ice cream shop, the Russian-style log cabin bar, the handmade bread (leba) shop, the drink bar, and so on, are all star shops of Liuxing Street. You can not only taste delicious food but also take photos and check in, which is very photogenic. The old street of Yili has the local atmosphere, food, and beautiful scenery. In the alleys, the afternoon sun sprinkles on the walls and doors and windows, giving you a strong visual impact with these colorful surfaces and the mottled shadows scattered all over. For two consecutive days, my teammates and I went to Liuxing Street twice, loving the ancient and simple, authentic atmosphere of the streets and alleys, feeling like a European town. The next morning at 8 o'clock, we went to the alley again, feeling that the whole alley had just woken up. At that moment, just my teammate and I were there, feeling like we had the whole place to ourselves~
