Lushan Karst Cave Group

The karst cave group of Yiyuan Lushan is located within a range of ten kilometers around Nanlushan Town, with more than 100 natural caves. The karst cave group developed in the Ordovician limestone layer of the Paleozoic era, with a history of 1 million years. Especially the karst cave group represented by Qianrendong and Shilongdong, the annual temperature is 18 degrees Celsius. Various stalactites, stone pillars, stalagmites, and stone corals in Shilongdong Cave are the base, with needle-shaped, spherical, grape-shaped, and various shapes, which are amazing. The Qianrendong cave is huge and can accommodate a thousand people. There are various Buddha statues inside, especially a large sleeping Buddha statue is impressive. The Yiyuan Ape Man Site Cave indicates that humans have thrived here four to five hundred thousand years ago, which adds a layer of mystery to this cave group.
