Ocean Liner Museum

This is a very amusing activity when in Yokohama. The Hikawa Maru is magnificent landmark symbolic to japan's maritime history. The ocean liner is now a museum. It is quite well kept and fascinating. I paid 500 yen towards entry and it was absolutely worth it. I remember reading somewhere that this ship and experience was amongst Charlie chaplin's favourite. The museum allows you to explore all thenropms, captains cabin, dining area and decorative spaces overboard that elude eleegance. One can only imagine what it must have been like back in days for people who went sailing on this beauty. I enjoyed the experience of exploring the hikawa Maru.
