Yamate Italian Mountain Garden

Nestled on a hillside, it connects two houses that were official buildings established during the opening of Yokohama port when foreigners came to Japan for trade activities. These buildings were constructed with the architectural features of their respective countries, exuding an antique charm. The European-style garden is exceptionally beautiful. Each room retains the furniture and some items from that era, giving visitors a sense of traveling back in time, becoming serene and elegant. There are many similar houses nearby, and guided tours are available on holidays.
