A Chinese New Year Celebration at Yokohama Chinatown

#festivaljoy #100waysoftravel Chinese New Year is celebrated around the world by att the Chinese, that doesn't exclude those living in other countries. Yokohama Chinatown is the biggest Chinatown in Japan and they also celebrate Chinese New Year in a very big scale. We visited there at night and found the two biggest temple, GuanGong and Mazhu Temple being lighted up with red lanterns and they have ceremonies held there as well. Many people, Chinese and Japanese as well as other tourists joined the celebration and feast on the joy together. This is a very cool and joyful vibe, and is one of my favourite place in Yokohama.
