Yongchun - Taoyuan Temple

Taoyuan Temple is located beside the Huancheng Road in Yongchun county town. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, immigrants from the Central Plains built the Zhenwu Palace in Yongchun, which was renamed Taoyuan Temple during the Five Dynasties period, and in the first year of the Jiajing era of the Ming dynasty, it became the Xuan Emperor's palace. It is dedicated to the worship of the Xuan Tian Shang Di, Fa Zhu Gong, Li Gong Yuan Shuai, and the Bodhisattva Guanyin. The temple covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, with a two-entry earthen and wooden structure, and the main hall features a heavy-eaved Xieshan-style roof. It was renovated in 1985. There are two pieces of Qing dynasty stone carvings remaining.
