To Yueyang East Station, high-speed train takes 50 minutes; to Yueyang Station, slow train takes 2.5 hours. Yueyang Station is very close to the city center, just a few kilometers away, while Yueyang East Station is a bit farther, but taxis and buses are very convenient. ❷ The various scenic spots in Yueyang are quite close to each other. The attractions around Yueyang Tower can be reached on foot. It takes 20 minutes by taxi from Yueyang Tower to Sheng'an Ancient Temple. - 🟡 Summer Travel Tips ❶ Yueyang Tower ▫️There is a stamp collection activity now‼️ There are a total of 22 stamps distributed in various places in the scenic area. The scenic area provides stamp collection forms, and you can bring your own notebook to get stamps for free. ▫️The visitor center, cultural and creative museum, and several indoor exhibition halls have air conditioning. If you feel too hot after walking for a long time, you can take a break there. ▫️Yueyang Tower is currently open for night tours from 18:30 to 21:00, with half-price tickets, but you cannot climb the main tower. · ❷ Yueyang Port Industrial Heritage Park ▫️If you come to Yueyang in summer, you must watch a sunset over Dongting Lake! The view from the heritage park is excellent! Highly recommended! ▫️The Dongting Fishing Fire Season is back! From July 20 to August 31, there are performances every day (starting at 19:00) during these two months, super lively and free! There is a music festival every weekend. The temple is built on the mountain, close to Nanhu Lake. Climbing up Yueyang Tower, you can overlook the cityscape of Yueyang and have a distant view of Dongting Lake. When the weather is good, it is highly recommended to spend 10 yuan to climb Yueyang Tower.
