I stumbled upon Mount Sanqing and was instantly captivated by its majestic beauty🤩, so I decided to go on a whim. Climbing the mountain, I witnessed the spectacular granite formations, lush valleys, and layered peaks, as well as the ethereal and mysterious sea of clouds in the morning. This trip was so worth it! ⛰Mount Sanqing itself Located in Yushan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, with an altitude of 1800+ meters and Taoist heritage, it may not be as famous as China's Three Mountains and Five Sacred Peaks, but its scenery is no less impressive. Plus, with fewer tourists, the visiting experience is even better. 🚊Transportation 🚄For departures from Shanghai, high-speed rail is the preferred option, with multiple Shanghai-Shangrao trains available, taking a short time (2.5-3 hours). 🚌From Shangrao Station to Mount Sanqing, there is a direct bus (1.5 hours to reach Wai Shuangxi cable car), search for 'Shangrao Travel-Xingrong Travel' on WeChat to book the bus. Punctual arrival and departure, safer, and reliable timing. For workers, the schedule of leaving on Friday night and returning on Sunday night is perfect for a painless leave!❤️ 🈺Tickets Scenic area ticket: 120 yuan/adult Cable car round-trip ticket: 125/adult 🌄Hiking Routes There are 2 cable cars: 1⃣️The eastern Jinsha cable car (with more nearby attractions) is the choice of most people, with many tourists and queues of over 30 minutes during peak periods. 2⃣️The southern Wai Shuangxi cable car, with fewer tourists and almost no queuing. Depending on your physical condition, you can choose from 3 different climbing routes: 🧗‍♀️Route 1: Small loop (about 2-3 hours) Not recommended, it's a pity not to see more when you come all this way. 🧗‍♀️Route 2: Medium loop (about 4-6 hours) Covers the main attractions, Jinsha cable car-Python Viewing Platform-Goddess Viewing Platform–Rhododendron Valley-Yutai-One Line Sky–West Coast Walkway-Jinsha cable car 🧗‍♀️Route 3: Large loop (about 6-8 hours) Covers all attractions, accessible from either Jinshan cable car or Wai Shuangxi cable car. In addition to the medium loop, there are also Yuhuang Top, Sun Up Villa, West Coast Walkway (including a glass walkway) 🛏Accommodation You can stay in Shangrao on Friday night or at the foot of the scenic area. Choose based on your route and budget. There are many homestays and hotels at the foot of Jinsha cable car, ranging from mid to high and low end. Mainly Hilton hotels are located at the foot of Wai Shuangxi cable car. There are camping sites and guesthouses on the mountain (such as Goddess Guesthouse). 💟Tips: 1. For cable car tickets, you need to exchange for a paper number at the ticket center and enter the park in order of the number. 2. The last cable car is at 5:30, so plan your route accordingly. 3. You can hire a guide at the lower cable car station, which maximizes route planning and provides more detailed explanations of the attractions. The guide fee for the medium loop is 260 yuan, and for the large loop, it's over 300 yuan. 4. For those who don't have time to watch the sunset🌄 and sunrise🌅, consider going up the mountain before 9 am, as the misty clouds are also a unique sight. 5. Simple walking sticks can be purchased at the foot of the mountain, which saves a lot of effort.
