The Siming Mountains in autumn are a burst of colors. 💗 (1) Danshan Chishui Scenic Area Located in the heart of the Siming Mountains, this area is named after the 'Red Rock Reflecting Stream.' It features natural landscapes, Taoist culture, and the rich ancient village style of eastern Zhejiang. Sheer cliffs, peculiar rocks, ancient paths, flowing streams, waterfalls, old bridges, ancient villages, and persimmon forests form a picturesque and magnificent landscape. Taoists honor it as the 'Ninth Heaven.' The scenic area has pebble paths and stone steps. The glass bridge and glass slide require an additional fee. If you don't want to walk on the glass bridge, you can skip it. The mountain top is somewhat dilapidated, but the water pools at the foot of the mountain are very clear, with rapid flowing water where children can play. There are also small fish. 💗 (2) Shilin Village Named for its abundant 'Diao Hong' persimmons. Shilin Village is surrounded by mountains and lush bamboo forests. It is not only beautiful but also retains its original rustic charm. The entire village is inhabited by the Shen family. According to the family genealogy, the Shen family's ancestor was the tenth son of King Wen of Zhou, who was granted land in Shen and took the name of the place. His descendants later settled here. The village has an ancient well with clear, pure water that is warm in winter and cool in summer, serving as the drinking water source for the entire village. Hence, the saying 'One village, one surname, one family, one ancient well for the whole village.' There are various small shops at the village entrance, including old-fashioned popcorn vendors, adding to the atmosphere with a loud pop. Persimmons are sold everywhere, but remember to choose the soft ones; unripe ones can cause a numbing sensation. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, including many farmhouses and guesthouses. Shilin Village has many narrow alleys that are great for photos. There are many persimmon trees, and the roads are all pebble paths, so hold your little ones' hands. The villagers are very friendly and seem to live a leisurely life. 💗 (3) Shenxiu Valley The scenery in Shenxiu Valley is truly like a fairyland on earth. The green is vibrant, the red maples are bright, and the ginkgo trees are a vivid green, all blending together beautifully, making it hard to resist capturing the moment. 💗 (4) Liangnong Ancient Town Liangnong Ancient Town has no commercial atmosphere and retains the tranquility and leisure of a Jiangnan ancient town. If you like glutinous rice cakes, try the Liangnong specialty, Liangnong Rice Cake. 💗 (5) Siming Lake Metasequoia Wetland Siming Lake Metasequoia Wetland: The scenery is picturesque and perfect for photos! If I had to recommend one spot, it would be the Metasequoia Wetland! Besides the red railing road, don't miss the scenery near the lake.
