I participated in the "Guarding the Yangtze River" Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Festival in Zhangjiagang, and the scene was quite lively. As a sub-event of the 2024 Yangtze River Culture Festival, intangible cultural heritage resources with regional characteristics and humanistic customs from various provinces and cities along the river are gathered here, not only showing the vitality of Yangtze River culture, but also presenting a feast of intangible cultural heritage. This intangible cultural heritage folk festival has more than 20 projects from 12 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the Yangtze River Basin, such as Qinghai, Yunnan, and Hubei, which are worth seeing. Like Qinghai's Qingxiu, Sichuan Miao's batik skills, etc. In addition to the intangible cultural heritage stalls outside the province, local and surrounding stall owners have also joined in. Local specialty foods, special products, and intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and other products make the entire festival full of fireworks. Local citizens can feel and experience the most representative intangible cultural heritage culture of various ethnic groups in the Yangtze River Basin at their doorstep, which is great!
