Beauty and Charm of Hidden Gem of Baofen Lake

#lakes Mountain Lake Baofeng is located in the south-west of China. It got its name due to the mountain range near which it is located. Lake Baofeng is located in the mountains at an altitude of about 400 m (and at the highest point at all 585 m) above sea level. But the most amazing thing is the fact that the lake is artificial! Spectacular surroundings and harmoniously decorate the locals. On Baofeng Lake, you will be able to feel the full flavor and originality of the indigenous culture, as well as see the beauty of the landscapes with your own eyes. Baofeng Lake is a World Natural Heritage Site, a world geological park and part of the first group of Level 5A national tourist zones in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. This is one of the main tourist routes of Zhangjiajie and the water curtain in the series "Journey to the West" and "The True and False Monkey King". It is a complex picturesque place combining landscape and national culture. On a tour of the lake's water surface, you can see rocks and peaks of bizarre shapes, such as "fairy looking into the mirror", "golden toad holding the moon" and others. The main scenic area is 2.5 kilometers long, the widest part of the water surface is more than 150 meters, and the average water depth is 72 meters. There are more than 20 famous scenic spots in the scenic area, among which the most famous are Baofeng Lake, Baofeng Waterfall and Baofeng Temple. There are small houses right on the lake, when a tourist boat sails by, a person comes out and greets tourists with a folk song and a special folk greeting "Yoo-wei", which means a safe return home. After taking a ride on the lake, you can take a picture with Sun Wukong against the background of the waterfall, or even order a photo shoot in costumes of the Miao and Hui nationalities. You can also go up to the traditional village and to the Baofeng Temple, to be honest, after traveling through the Wulingyuan Mountains, we did not go up there anymore. Of course, you can also buy souvenirs in the folk style.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park

Tianmen Mountain (simplified Chinese: 天门山; traditional Chinese: 天門山; pinyin: Tiānmén Shān; lit. 'Heaven's Gate Mountain') is a mountain located within Tianmen Mountain National Park, Zhangjiajie, in the northwestern part of Hunan Province, China. The cave is on the precipices and is over 1260 meters elevation, the height of the cave is 131.5 meters and the width is about 50 meters. The cave is like the door to heaven; it looks like the junction of common world and the place where god lives. Guest may need to walk up 999 steps to reach the cave, it will be tried but lucky, because '9' is the biggest number in Chinese culture and 999 means an eternal/forever life. Or you can take the world longest escalator over 5 times to get to the cave and another 7 times to get to the peak! #naturalwonders#camping#hiking#themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool
