Zhuhai Haitan Park, the name itself carries a poetic sense, as if it is a deep conversation between the sea and the sky. Today, I set foot on this land along the coastline and began a journey to explore the harmonious coexistence of nature and the city. I first came to the Haitan Walkway, which is the starting point of the park and the best place to enjoy the sea view and cityscape. The walkway winds along the coastline, and the sea breeze gently caresses my face with a salty taste, making me feel comfortable. I stayed here for about half an hour, feeling the rhythm of the waves lapping against the shore and looking at the spectacular Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in the distance. Then, I went to the Haitan Post Station, where the beach and sea view made me feel relaxed and happy. I sat here for about an hour, watching children playing on the beach and couples strolling by the sea, feeling the peace and harmony. The most striking feature of the park is the 30-meter-high artificial waterfall, with water pouring down from a high place, which is magnificent. I stayed here for about 20 minutes. The waterfall is open at 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, and 17:00 every day, which is a must-see check-in point. In the greenhouse botanical garden, I seemed to have entered a desert kingdom, where there are 54 species and more than 260 desert plants introduced from abroad, as well as nearly 100 rare and rare tropical plants with different shapes. I spent about 40 minutes here, and the opening hours on weekdays are from 10:00 to 18:00 from Tuesday to Sunday. The Lingnan garden landscape of Haitan Park is also a highlight, including buildings such as moon gates, Mingxiang Pavilion, hexagonal pavilions, and corridors, which allow people to appreciate the charm of Lingnan gardens.
