You can make it in just two days from Guangdong on the weekend, hurry up and book your trip 🐴 - ‼️ Itinerary Day1: High-speed rail station - Bailang - Ergeng Homestay - Dinner with a touch of class Day2: Ergeng Homestay - Xiaodong River - Longweiping - Mahuangqiu, Wayaoping - High-speed rail station ✔️ We chose to rent a car for the trip, with a driver to take us everywhere. It's so, so, so comfortable, it's great not having to think when you go out. I highly recommend Xiaobao from the Anxin Fleet; he even knows the best poses for photos at these spots, and the trip was super fun with lots of laughs along the way. 📷 Photo Spots ✔️ Bailang: You'll pass by on the way to the homestay, Chenzhou's Little Erhai Lake, with about 5 kilometers of lakeside road, and s-shaped bends just like those in Dali, great for taking photos; ✔️ Xiaodong River: You have to get up early to see the misty Xiaodong River, with fog winding through layers of mountains and forests, ripples on the lake, how can it be so effortlessly beautiful; it's a 3-5 minute drive from the homestay, and the advantage of staying nearby is you can get up later; ✔️ Mahuangqiu: Unique Danxia landform, same as Gaoyiling but free, the highway canyon is great for photos 📷; not far away is Wayaoping, a characteristic small ancient town good for taking photos; about a 20-minute drive from the homestay; ✔️ Longweiping: Chenzhou's Little Li River, with lush trees on both sides of the river reflecting on the water like a landscape painting, spend 20r to experience bamboo rafting; about a 20-minute drive from Mahuangqiu; - 🏨 About Accommodation 📌 Ergeng Homestay at Dongjiang Lake Located by Xiaodong River, the overall design is full of style, rooms are spacious with private hot spring pools, equipped with refrigerators and projectors, and the super large floor-to-ceiling windows face Dongjiang Lake. Not only is it close to various attractions, but you can also get up an hour later in the morning to watch the morning mist and fishing nets, leading the way into the park; ‼️ Since the attractions in Chenzhou are quite scattered, if it's your first time visiting, it's recommended to start with Xiaodong River, as most attractions are concentrated in this area. Since they are a certain distance from the city center and you need to get up early to see the morning mist, we decided to stay near Dongjiang Lake; - 🥘 Chenzhou Cuisine Hunan cuisine is such that wherever you go, you end up eating 2 bowls of rice, gaining 5 pounds in 2 days is no joke. For dinner that day, we ate at the nearby Xiaozhiwei restaurant 🍲, which has a great overall environment, and the taste and presentation are on point. If you're staying nearby, you can give it a try; other local specialties include pig-slaughtering rice noodles, Qifengdu fish noodles, rice dumplings, fern root starch cakes on the tip of the tongue, and roasted chicken, worth a try.
