A Second Visit to Xiaodongjiang in Chenzhou: Longjing Canyon

This time, I accompanied a friend on a second visit to Xiaodongjiang in Chenzhou. It might already be late autumn, and due to temperature differences and climate reasons, we couldn't see the fairyland-like mist over Xiaodongjiang that I saw when I visited in July. However, as we strolled along the riverside path, my friend was still amazed by the breathtaking scenery. During my last visit, I was so captivated by the dreamlike beauty of the mist-covered river that I didn't have time to visit Longjing Canyon. Since this is my second visit, I definitely wanted to make up for that regret. The canyon features a series of waterfalls: Yuanyang Waterfall, Sanjie Waterfall, Longyin Waterfall, and more, with mountains and water reflecting each other. The entire canyon tour is 2.5 kilometers long. Although the terrain is steep, the paths are well-constructed and not too steep. As long as you watch out for slippery surfaces, it's quite easy to walk. Along the way, the lush green mountains and the high density of negative ions in the air make you feel like your body is producing more dopamine. It's wonderful!
