After I finished paying respects to the Buddha statue in the stupa, a lama at the door stopped me and gave me holy water to drink with my hands cupped. Sometimes it's these little details on the journey that can touch you. Navigation: Directly navigate to Gerdeng Monastery, which is very close inside Aba County. Parking: Parking is easy, with a simple parking lot that charges 5 yuan per time. For free parking, drive to the front of the monastery, where you can also drive inside, but I think it feels better to walk in. Admission: 0 yuan, not a charged attraction, you can wander around freely. Note: 1. Many lamas do not like cameras pointed at them. If they cover their faces with their robes, please do not take their pictures. I didn't encounter any lamas covering their faces with robes at Gerdeng Monastery, but I did at Labrang Monastery later. 2. Gerdeng Monastery is suitable for a leisurely visit and will be a beautiful start to the day.
