It was originally built in the fifth year of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty's Xuanhe period (1123). It was renovated during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, covering a building area of 7,000 square meters. The main hall of Dingxiang Guanwang Temple is a typical beamless hall, facing east with its back to the west, three bays wide and two bays deep, featuring a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, colorful glazed ridge beasts, and green glazed trim.
