2026 Dlingo Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in July)

A vacation to Jogja never gets old. There’s just so much to explore. Am I right? 😊 This time, I want to share my 3-day, 2-night itinerary from my recent trip to Jogja. Hopefully, this can serve as a little cheat sheet for anyone struggling to put together their own travel plans! By the way, FYI, I stayed in the Sleman area. 1️⃣ Day One We just grabbed breakfast at the hotel. Our first stop was Stonehenge Merapi. From there, we went to have some fun exploring Studio Alam Gamplong. After all that walking around, we were definitely hungry, and it was the perfect time for lunch. Since it was nearby, we decided to eat at Kopi Klotok. You can't really do a quick meal here because it’s always packed, but it’s totally worth it! Plus, the sightseeing around the area is great. After lunch, we headed to Tebing Breksi and hung out there until the late afternoon. Right before sunset, we made our way to Candi Ijo to catch the gorgeous views 😍. Then, it was back to the hotel. 2️⃣ Day Two Breakfast was at Saoto Bathok Mbah Katro. This spot is super close to Candi Sambisari, so it would be a shame not to stop by. I mean, we were already in the neighborhood, right? 😊 Next, we took a drive to Hutan Pinus Mangunan. Once we had our fill of taking photos and soaking in the pine forest vibes, we headed over to Pinus Pengger. Honestly, it has pretty much the same feel, but it was still a lot of fun. The weather started to drizzle while we were at Pinus Pengger, so we went on a hunt for some warm food. Sego Godog Pak Pethel hit the spot perfectly—it’s the ultimate comfort food for chilly weather. After eating, we headed straight back to the hotel. 3️⃣ Final Day We had breakfast at the hotel and checked out. Since it was still early, we went straight to Situs Warungboto. From there, we moved on to Geoforest Watu Payung Turunan. For lunch, we hit up Warung Kopi Panggang. The food was so good—they serve those classic, rustic village-style dishes. The atmosphere was really cozy, too. After lunch, we headed down to Malioboro to stroll around and shop for souvenirs while waiting for our train. From Malioboro, it was just a quick walk over to the station! 😄 And that wrapped up our 3D2N trip in the truly special city of Jogja 😍😍. Oh, and just a heads up, my friends and I rented a car while we were there to make getting around much easier. Hope this helps! 😉

Lepo Dlingo Waterfall is a waterfall that is still beautiful and natural. The name itself is taken from the word Ledok Pokoh which means Valley in Pokoh Hamlet.Many people equate the beauty of this Waterfall with Erawan Waterfall in Thailand. Both have several levels and the turquoise water makes them identical.This waterfall has three levels with four ponds. This tourist location is in Pokoh Hamlet, Dlingo Village, Dlingo District, Pokoh I, Dlingo, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region.

#travelplan For those of you looking for a budget-friendly vacation in Yogyakarta, I have a recommended one-day trip itinerary. It's economical, you can see lots of destinations, and it's definitely fun! Oh yeah, I went with four friends, renting a car with a driver included. So we just sat back and relaxed, and they took us to these places. Since we were with friends, the car rental was also more economical 😉 1. Taman Sari It's best to go to Taman Sari in the morning, not on weekends. The goal is to avoid the crowds. If it's too crowded, it's a bit less fun, especially for those who want to take great photos. So, try to get there by 9:00. Oh yeah, the entrance fee is only 15,000 Rupiah per person. 2. Warungboto Site This site is similar to Taman Sari. Entry is free. You only have to pay for parking. 3. Mangunan Pine Forest There are a lot of tourist destinations in the Mangunan area of ​​Dlingo. The concept is more or less the same: a pine forest with platforms of various shapes to enjoy the view from above. You can choose whichever one appeals to you most. This time, I recommend Mangunan Pine Forest. The entrance fee is only 7,000 Rupiah per person. The facilities are complete, including restrooms, a prayer room, and a food stall. 4. Watu Payung Turunan Geoforest This is said to be one of the best sunrise hunting spots in Yogyakarta. But I went here in the late afternoon after a rainstorm, and the view was just as beautiful. Besides the platforms for enjoying the view from above, there's also a forest reminiscent of Lord of the Rings. By the way, the forest isn't a pine forest, but a teak forest. The name Watu Payung comes from a large, umbrella-shaped rock. The entrance fee to Watu Payung Geoforest is only 5,000 Rupiah per person. 5. Roasted Coffee For culinary delights, I recommend eating at Warung Kopi Panggang. The place is fun, the food is delicious, and the prices are affordable. Rice, vegetables, side dishes, and drinks average around 20,000 Rupiah per person. 6. Malioboro This one-day trip can be concluded with a stroll around Malioboro. If you're just strolling, it's free. Malioboro city is very beautiful and calm even though it is busy with many people, horse carriages, tricycles and others. Timang Beach is also enjoyable even though the journey there is a bit painful. The experience of staying in Nepal Van Java is also very beautiful. We will come again to Nepal Van Java to stay again later. Suko Makmor vegetable garden is very calming. Many mothers fell in love so much that it was hard to leave home. We are grateful to be able to stop by the beautiful Suciati Saliman Mosque. Hopefully continued success for Suciati and Saliman. #travel

Mangunan Hobbit Park was a nice little stop during my trip to Yogyakarta. The park is small and mainly popular for its photo spots, especially the Hobbit-style houses with their round doors and quirky design. It’s fun for a few quick pictures, but there isn’t much else to do beyond that. The area is quiet, surrounded by pine trees, and the entrance fee is very affordable. It’s a good place to stretch your legs and snap a few photos if you're already exploring the Mangunan area. Don’t expect a full attraction or long visit—it’s more of a quick, light-hearted detour.
