There was plenty of shade at the bottom of the hill, but it got sunnier as I climbed higher. There weren't many tourists on a weekday—just a few scattered visitors and the occasional local there to pray. There was no line at the ticket gate. The path up is mostly stone steps. They are generally gentle, though some vary slightly in height. The stone surface can be a bit slippery from foot traffic, so be extra careful if you visit after it rains. The plaza at the foot of the hill is paved with flat stone, and the platform at the top is spacious. There's plenty of parking at the bottom, making it convenient if you're driving.
