Their Yukhoe Bibimbap (raw beef mixed rice) is incredibly delicious, making it a popular lunch spot with many customers. They also sell Korean beef, so grilling some meat alongside your meal would be a great idea 🐮🥩 Be sure to visit Mongtteul for Yukhoe Bibimbap when you're in Busan!

Dongrae High School is one of the prestigious high schools in Busan with a long history. And the Dongrae-gu area has been a bustling area since the old days of Busan. There is a small Chinese restaurant called Taebaek-gwan next to the main gate of Dongrae High School. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays~ Taebaek-gwan is popular. It is a local restaurant that many locals visit, and the number of customers is increasing. Compared to when I visited with a Busan local, there were more autographs from celebrities, and it was also called a tangsuyuk restaurant? When ordering all three dishes—sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and Choma-myeon—the price averages between 10,000 and 20,000 KRW, making it a restaurant with excellent value for money. · -- Main Menu They only sell four items: Choma-myeon, fried rice, Jajangmyeon, and sweet and sour pork. When I asked why, they said they no longer sell Jjamppong after Choma-myeon became famous. --- Overall Taste First off, the Choma-myeon felt like Nagasaki Jjamppong (White Jjamppong). The broth, made by mixing seafood and meat stocks and seasoned with pepper and chili, offered a pleasantly spicy kick. The soup was moderately rich and spicy, giving the impression of drinking a hangover soup meant for a cure. Additionally, there were so many seafood ingredients—such as clams, bamboo shoots, and squid—that it was difficult to distinguish whether it was Jjamppong or a seafood stew. However, while it was refreshing and spicy, it didn't have an incredibly special flavor. I'd say it was just about the level of a good Chinese restaurant's White Jjamppong. The fried rice was prepared with an old-fashioned feel, and the rustic black bean sauce and fried egg stood out. It wasn't fancy, but it was delicious. If greasy Samseon Fried Rice is the trend these days, then Bugwang Banjeong's fried rice tasted like... drained oil with a lot of pork shoulder. There was plenty of meat in the fried rice. The Sweet and Sour Pork was just average. Nothing particularly unique about it; it was just decent. [Mackerel in Busan] Jangjeon-dong This is a review of my visit to 'Mackerel in Busan,' a place you absolutely won't regret if you love grilled fish. The biggest charm of this place is that you can taste the true essence of grilled fish, cooked instantly at high temperatures in a massive oven, resulting in a crispy exterior and a moist interior. The signature grilled mackerel has absolutely no fishy smell and retains its savory oiliness, making it a perfect rice thief. They also offer braised mackerel, hairtail, Spanish mackerel, and grilled Atka mackerel. It isn't easy to eat grilled fish alone, but I found this place to be great for solo dining with absolutely no pressure. The class of the accompanying side dishes is also exceptional. You can take as much of the neat side dishes, such as japchae, spicy stir-fried pork, and mountain lettuce salad, from the unlimited refill self-service bar as you want, giving you the satisfaction of being at a lavish Korean traditional restaurant. The ingredients and sauce for bibimbap are also unlimited refills, making it possible to make bibimbap as well. The savory rice water served at the end also cleanses the palate. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant overall, making it the perfect place for a family meal or taking your parents out. It is so popular that there tends to be a bit of a wait during peak hours, but the turnover is fast and the parking lot is spacious, so it is well worth the wait. I saw it on Instagram. 🤭 The shop entrance was filled with charm, and I felt happy the moment I walked in. ✨ I ordered churros and mango sorbet ade. 🥨 The churros were delicious dipped in whipped cream, and I recommend eating them while they're still warm after taking the photo. ⭐️ The mango sorbet and ade were refreshing and tangy, perfect for a quick drink. 🍹 I definitely want to try the coffee next time I visit. 🤭

#NewYearTravel 📍 Sajik-dong, Dongrae-gu, Busan Morning House, where the Tuna Aged Kimchi Roll Lunchbox was absolutely delicious ✨ I ordered it with an iced Americano, and the grilled mushrooms inside were especially delicious, which was a nice touch. 🤭 The Americano was also rich and paired well with the food. ☕️💛 When we arrived around 11:30, there were two tables left, so we were able to grab a seat without any issues. The sandwiches looked delicious, too. I definitely want to try them on my next visit. 😊
