This location is very popular for a driving course that offers great views of the incredible rocky cliffs, beaches draw many visitors from other prefectures for swimming. The best place to appreciate it is Echizen Cape Observation Deck. This deck is located on the top of the hill which faces Echizen Beach. This is also a popular destination for the beautiful views of the many daffodils that grow there. Climb the hill a bit and you’ll find a walking path with an incredible view of fields of Echizen daffodils. It is less touristry which made the place quiet and calm. Its a good opportunity to relax and unwind here and I felt being rewarded by the refreshing view of the green hill and the clear blue water of Japan Sea. #DomesticTravelRecord I wanted to eat crab at the end of the year, so I went to Echizen in Fukui Prefecture to eat crab. I went for the first time last year, and it was so delicious that I went again this year. The Echizen crab tag adds a touch of luxury, and the meat and roe from the fine crab are amazing. The crab miso, white rice, and miso soup that I had at the end were the perfect combination. Apart from the crab, the sashimi, fried food, and seiko crab were all delicious. Because it was in the Hokuriku region, we were able to see snow, so it really felt like winter.

The dome of the three-story building in the middle is a crab shell, and the two-story square buildings on both sides symbolize crab legs.
