Of all the places I've visited, Esperance in Western Australia stands out for its stunning ocean views. The sand is white and smooth, and the water is incredibly clear. I was constantly impressed wherever I went. While it's difficult to get to, I highly recommend it for anyone staying in Australia. ■ How to Get There To get to Esperance from Perth, Fly to Esperance Airport (approximately an hour and a half). From the airport, it's about a 20-minute drive to the city. (Airfares cost about ¥40,000 one way.) You can also take a long-distance bus (approximately eight to nine hours) or rent a car for a road trip. With endless coastal and wilderness scenery, it's especially recommended for driving enthusiasts. Be careful if you're driving, as roads are closed during bushfires. ■ Recommended Beaches I Went To Esperance is a truly enjoyable place for beach hopping. The following three were particularly memorable: ・Lucky Bay The contrast between the white sand and the clear water is breathtaking. It's also famous for wild kangaroos appearing on the beach. Blue Haven Beach A semi-private beach surrounded by cliffs. The deep blue of the ocean creates a very calming atmosphere. Hellfire Bay This is truly a hidden gem. The contrast between the brilliant white sand and the deep blue of the ocean is striking, making this the beach that personally impressed me the most. There are relatively few tourists, so you can enjoy the scenery in peace. The weather was bad the day I visited, but it was still breathtakingly beautiful. Each beach has easy access to parking and restrooms, making it easy to get around, and I was able to visit several in one day. Esperance is located in the south of Western Australia. It's a small seaside town about 8 hours by car from Perth. The sea is beautiful no matter where you look! Famous tourist spots include Lucky Bay, where you can meet kangaroos on the beach, Wharton Beach, and Twilight Beach! If you're lucky, you can see a group of dolphins, and in winter, whales! I encountered a group of dolphins at Wharton Beach and took a picture of them with a drone! It's a really small town, so I recommend it to people who just want to chill by the sea! @westernaustralia @esperance
