When you come to South Korea 🇰🇷, you must visit the most beautiful and niche Korean village, Onpyeong 🏘️.
Want to see traditional Korean houses? How about visiting Enping Hanok Village~
🏘️Eunpyeong Hanok Village
Here is Enping, a very famous place.
Traditional Korean houses are all newly built.
The planning is also very neat, overlooking the whole picture.
You can also see the Beihan Mountain ⛰️ not far away.
On ordinary days, there aren't many people here. This is a flat land.
Won't have to climb up and down like other Hanok villages.
Here you can take a leisurely stroll.
|
Find a treasure coffee shop where you can admire the beautiful scenery of the whole village.
I checked in at the "1인1잔 북한산제빵소" coffee shop.
Slow down your pace and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea.

Trip to Eunpyeong, Korea 🇰🇷
It was a short trip to Hanok, Korea. We began our day at Eunpyeong Hanok Village, nestled at the base of Bukhansan Mountain ⛰️ Walking through the quiet streets, we were mesmerized by the beautiful hanok (traditional Korean houses) 🏘️ with their elegant tiled roofs and intricate wooden 🪵 designs. Morning ⛅️ was the best time to visit, as the soft light highlighted the details of the architecture while the village was still peaceful. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to capture the perfect mix of tradition and nature in their photos 📸
📍 127-2 Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea
A short walk from the village brought us to Jingwansa Temple, a serene and historic Buddhist temple surrounded by lush greenery 🍃 We explored the temple grounds, where the contrast of the colorful buildings against the backdrop of Bukhansan was truly breathtaking. For photography 📸 we found the golden hour (just before sunset) to be ideal, as the warm light added depth and vibrancy to our shots. I would recommend this spot for its peaceful atmosphere and unique cultural significance 😍😍😍
📍73 Jingwan-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea
We also ventured into Bukhansan National Park, accessible directly from the village. The park offered incredible panoramic views of the city and mountains, perfect for wide-angle photography 📸 We hiked a short trail leading to a lookout point where the traditional hanok village and modern Seoul skyline blended beautifully. The late afternoon light was the best for capturing the landscape with crisp details. I would highly recommend this for nature lovers and photographers seeking dramatic shots 🙌🙌🙌
📍262 Bogukmun-ro, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea
We then returned to Eunpyeong Hanok Village for a leisurely stroll during sunset 🌅 The golden light bathed the hanok houses, creating a warm and magical atmosphere that was perfect for both wide shots and close-ups. The reflections on the windows and the play of light and shadows were a dream for photographers 📸 I would recommend staying until twilight for a chance to capture the soft, glowing lanterns lighting up the village streets ✨
📍127-2 Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea
This itinerary is perfect for those who love traditional Korean culture, scenic landscapes, and stunning photo opportunities. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Korea.

Yeonseo's Garden Cafe
The cafe in the Yeonshinnae area (Eunpyeong-gu) might be a bit far from the city center, but you can get there by subway. Not many people frequent this area, and there are markets around. I found this cafe on the internet and felt that it has a different vibe compared to other cafes in Seoul. It has a warm, green atmosphere, and the interior is lit with dim, orange lights, making it very cozy. The prices for drinks and snacks are very affordable.
Living Room Cafe
A space where you are welcomed and seen off, a place where you receive the obvious things, 'Living Room'
Located in the alleys of Eungam-dong, this place has an unassuming exterior but exudes the atmosphere of a living room that greets you as soon as you enter the house.
Inside, you are welcomed by a minimalist blue carpet and plastered walls, with a spacious furniture arrangement that provides a sense of comfort.
In addition to the basic cafe menu, you can enjoy simple meals such as peanut banana toast and brunch. The menu, which includes a one-line comment from the owner, is also fun to read.
A space where you can feel small and simple happiness.

Eungam Cold Brew is a cozy hideout-style cafe, Komil.
⏱️Business Hours: Closed on Mondays
09:00 - 19:00
A hideout-style cafe in Eungam-dong with delicious cold brew✏️
Komil is a great place to feel the alleyway vibes of Eungam-dong through its curved windows.
Although it's a small space of about 5 pyeong, the cozy wood-tone interior makes it a comfortable hideout!
Be sure to try their rich-flavored cold brew, brewed for 20 hours with freshly roasted beans👍

Eunpyeong Hanok Village: One Drink Per Person
We were wondering which cafe to visit and ended up going to One Drink Per Person right in front of us. We were very satisfied~😊
I heard it's popular among foreigners, and as a Korean, I felt even prouder, haha. The view overlooking the Hanok Village and the friendly staff were great too, haha.
The entire building is a cafe, but the 1st and 2nd floors are indoor spaces, the 3rd floor doubles as a furniture store (this floor has the best view), and the 4th and 5th floors are separated into dessert and dining spaces, which was nice👍
It was so good that I felt like I should bring my parents next time!
There weren't as many people as I expected, and it was quiet and nice!

[Seoul] Starbucks The Bukhansan Branch with a panoramic view of Bukhansan Mountain.
I visited the Starbucks The Bukhansan Branch this weekend.
Since it's usually crowded, I did an open run early in the morning for a more relaxed experience.
The opening time is 7 am, and I arrived around 15 minutes early, parking was easy but unfortunately, there were no good seats inside.
All the window seats were already taken. However, the place has windows on all sides, so you could still enjoy the view of Bukhansan Mountain even if you're not seated by the window.
The building itself is a Starbucks, so the interior was really pretty.
Inside, there was a model of Bukhansan Mountain on display, and the bathroom decor was also neat.
The view outside included not only Bukhansan Mountain but also many plants and trees in the vicinity, which was soothing to the eyes.
Looking down, I could see a small garden, and on the day I visited, gardeners were maintaining it, which showed it was well cared for.
There's also a rooftop on the third floor with a photo zone where you can take pictures against the backdrop of Bukhansan Mountain.
There were no tables around it, so it was comfortable to take pictures.
If you want to enjoy the greenery in the city, I recommend Starbucks The Bukhansan Branch!

A Japanese restaurant in Yeonsinnae. Robada Sage
Address: 13-6 Yeonseo-ro 27-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul
Atmosphere/Facilities: The interior of Robada Seiji is not very spacious. It consists of a Japanese-style seating area and tables. Because the interior is not very spacious, it feels somewhat cozy. The interior is not shown in the photo, but it has a very retro feel.
Key Points: You can enjoy a variety of Japanese dishes at a low price. It is also a place where you can taste canned food imported directly from Japan. It maximizes customer satisfaction by providing inexpensive but high-quality dishes.
Average price per person: 32,000 won
Rating: 5/5
