Standing on the crest of a hill overlooking the town of Farnham are the impressive motte and 'shell keep' of a castle founded in 1138 by Henry of Blois, Bishop of Winchester and brother of King Stephen. In medieval times the diocese of Winchester was the richest in England, and Farnham was a favourite residence of the bishops. What a fabulous afternoon out at the Sculpture Park, Farnham, Surrey with my high school friend. Greeted by a biker gorilla, sheltering from the rain under a giant umbrella, meeting Churchill and being terrified by giant spiders were just a few of the highlights of our visit. There is a lovely gift shop and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You are given a map showing different routes which include a wheelchair trail. Lots of fun for young and old ❤️

A lovely reminiscing evening spent at our wedding venue, re creating photos taken 4 years ago. Had a lovely afternoon in the spa with full body massages then enjoyed 3 course dinner in the restaurant. Hotel has has a revamp in last 4 years and it’s really lovely. Amazing views and friendly staff.

Great place to come and visit if you got an hour or two! Nice Ruins a park and a lovely cafe too. The location is very nice and there is open field and land too. there are some land animals there too like cows and a spiritual Park where you can relax and enjoy and be in peace calm and tranquility. Being there made me love Nature more and more. I will return within a year again #church
