Note that these are wild outdoor crags with no equipment rental on-site—climbers must bring their own complete gear setup. Access: Crags are easily accessible on foot via short, marked walking trails from designated parking areas situated near the base of each wall. Schatten Castle is an ancient castle located in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, Austria. It has belonged to the Habsburg city of Feldkirch since 1825. Feldkirch purchased it for over 800 guilders, roughly the value of eight good championship horses at the time. Over the years, the castle has survived several wars and suffered some damage, but it has been continuously renovated. Today, it is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Central Europe. The museum has 18 rooms spread across three floors. Each room is dedicated to a different aspect of Feldkirch's history, guiding visitors back in time. Weapons from the Middle Ages to World War II are on display in the castle guard. The castle's lowest level has been converted into a traditional Austrian restaurant, serving must-try dishes such as the giant Viennese schnitzel and the must-drink Austrian spirit, Shnaps.
