Melbourne Fitzroy One-Day Shopping Itinerary (Highlights)
🥣 Elektra
🌟🌟🌟🌟
This place truly redefines my taste buds.
Highly recommend the Himalayan Iced Chai; the spices are rich but not overpowering, especially comforting in winter.
I ordered the Momo (Himalayan dumplings)—my friend immediately said it "felt like coming home for a second," it's genuinely delicious.
The poached egg and bread are refreshing and fragrant with spices, completely different from the heavy layers of cream typical of Australian brunch.
A safe bet, not greasy, and definitely a must-visit for a change of pace.
📍268 Brunswick St
🕯️Le Labo
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Still a loyal fan of Another 13.
Cool, musky, and clean, it's the kind of fragrance that can instantly eliminate the "work smell" for a casual date after work.
Even leaving empty-handed, I felt like I smelled better (it's psychological, but I accept it).
📍183 Gertrude St
🛍️ Lost and Found
🌟🌟🌟🌟 Vintage coffee cups, metalware, trinkets—all the old things have a story to tell.
The prices aren't as outrageous as some antique shops; as long as you avoid the luxury brand sections, they're very friendly.
The further you explore, the more treasures you find!!!
📍288 Brunswick St
📖 Paperback Bookshop
🌟🌟🌟🌟 A hidden gem on Bourke St. The bookstore isn't large, but the collection is amazing.
The space is cramped, the lighting is dim, yet it's surprisingly comfortable. Working here must be a wonderful experience.
📍60 Bourke St
🍲 Lulu’s
🌟🌟 This place is very popular on the "Melbourne Malaysian Must-Eat List," but…
I thought it was just okay, really just okay. Everyone has their own taste, so please don't criticize me 🫡 The kuey teow was soggy, lacked wok hei (wok aroma), and the seasoning was rather bland.
As someone with a Malaysian palate, I really think: foreigners are so easy to make money from, hahaha.
📍27-31 Hardware Ln
🍸 Berlin Bar
🌟🌟🌟🌟
I want to announce: this is a bar I recommend all year round!
The moment you walk up the stairs, you feel like you've entered a secret base. The decor is dramatic, the lighting is dim, and every corner has its own atmosphere.
My friend ordered a whiskey-based cocktail, and I tried a fruit-acidic one, which was surprisingly good. The overall experience was so great that I've already returned several times.
📍Level 2/16 Corrs Ln
