Lake Balaton is a freshwater rift lake in the Transdanubian region of Hungary. It is the largest lake in Central Europe and one of the region's foremost tourist destinations. Fonyod is an other nice beach city on the southern shore of Lake Balaton. In addition to the Balaton bathing, you can also walk to two lookout towers, the Várhegy look-out tower and the Sípos mountain look-out tower. You can also continue training on the forest gymnasium, although the lakeside promenade is also sufficient for a run.
