#Tokyo Value for Money Hotel If you want to find an affordable hot spring hotel around Tokyo, you must try this cost-effective hotel - Fuji Sakura Hot Spring Hotel. The hot spring and foot bath services in this hotel are free! You can enjoy the hot spring and relax your body and mind after returning at night. There is also a laundry room in the hot spring area, and the sound insulation effect is also very good. The facilities of this hotel are also relatively complete, and there is a coffee machine and some toiletries in the lobby. I wanted to go somewhere a little further from Tokyo, so I went to Spa Land Hotel Naito by myself. This is what they call a spa, with hot springs, a rock sauna, accommodation, massages, and restaurants all in one building. It's not a new facility, but it's well-cleaned and you can relax to your heart's content. The hotel's indoor clothing is a little flashy. lol There are about four restaurants, and it seems there are more employees than customers. They responded quickly and gave me a complimentary Mizu tataki. I received an aroma massage, which was also very polite and taught me a lot about the body. The best part of staying at a ryokan is the food. The breakfast was very extravagant. There were so many side dishes with the rice that I had to have seconds many times. You can have as much rice and miso soup as you want. And you can relax in a private room while looking at the beautiful garden. There's even a foot bath in front of Isawa Onsen Station. I'm so happy that there's one right in front of the station. Locals use it. If you carry a small towel with you, you can quickly dip your foot in the foot bath in the city, so I recommend it. To treat ourselves and our friends, we booked a trip to Isawa Onsen, which is conveniently close to Tokyo. This hotel is reasonably priced, yet the meals for both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the onsen was incredibly relaxing—truly a rejuvenating experience! Isawa Onsen Station is just a 1.5-hour ride from Shinjuku Station via the Kaiji Limited Express. There’s a footbath near the station, which was quite hot and warmed us up instantly. The power of onsen is amazing... The hotel’s shuttle bus picked us up at Isawa Onsen Station, and we arrived at the accommodation in about 10 minutes. The room was well-equipped with Wi-Fi, a TV, bottled water, snacks, and other thoughtful amenities. For dinner, we enjoyed a Kaiseki meal featuring Koshu beef, and breakfast included dishes like gyudon and houtou nabe, allowing us to savor the flavors of Yamanashi all at once. Meals were served in a Japanese-style room on the second floor, which also had a ping-pong table. The onsen featured an outdoor bath, and there was even complimentary ice cream after bathing! We soaked in the baths both at night and in the morning. It wasn’t overly crowded, making it a comfortable experience. This inn offered a fulfilling experience with great food and relaxing baths. There was also a convenient store right behind the hotel and a souvenir shop. The next day, we explored Kofu City, making it a delightful trip overall.

We took our 2-year-old and 0-year-old to Isawa Onsen "Itoyanagi." To be honest, I was a little worried about taking a hot spring trip with a baby (it was our 0-year-old's first hot spring experience)...but in the end, I'm so glad we went. The staff were very kind and immediately noticed we had a lot of luggage and came to our aid, giving us a sense of security. Also, when we got to our room, a futon was already set out for us, and they kindly provided a diaper bin and baby bath when we asked. They also provided a high chair for us to use when we had meals, which gave me the feeling that this was an inn that was accustomed to accommodating children. The room had a calming atmosphere, and we were grateful that we could enjoy our time with our child without worrying about others. Our 2-year-old was delighted with the spaciousness, and our 0-year-old slept even more soundly than usual. Of course, the hot springs and food were also excellent!!! This time we stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but we were also able to enjoy a private bath and medicinal stone bath. The dinner kaiseki course meals were all delicious, and the breakfast, billed as an "Amazing Breakfast," was incredibly varied and satisfying. Forget about your hectic daily life for a moment, This is an inn where you'll truly feel "great for staying with your family." Even with small children, I can confidently recommend this place. Isawa Onsen is about an hour and a half away from Shinjuku Station on the Kaiji Express. The area around the station is home to many wineries typical of Yamanashi, making it a recommended hot spring for alcohol lovers, as it's within walking distance. *Mikutei no Yado Hotel Koshien* This lovely inn features a large pond in the courtyard. There are private baths available for a fee, and three types of stone spa and hot stone baths are available for reservation after check-in. While there are set times, multiple reservations are possible. We made several reservations, making our stay quite hectic (?). I recommend the Togen Spa. Placing warm stones on your body warms you to the core. After working up a sweat in the stone spa, we had a delicious dinner and a good night's sleep. Waking up to an early morning sauna and enjoying breakfast was a very healthy experience, and I was very satisfied. If you plan on enjoying the hot stone baths and saunas, I recommend allowing yourself plenty of time. I went peach picking in Yamanashi! Yamanashi Prefecture is popular for many different fruits, but since it's summer, I went for peaches! It's about a 15-minute drive from downtown Kofu. If you tell the lady at the entrance that you want to pick peaches, you can choose between peach picking or all-you-can-eat. Since I went after lunch, she said it would be a waste to just eat as much as you want, so I picked some peaches to take home. About a 10-minute walk from the reception, there's a place where there are lots of peaches. After receiving a simple explanation of how to pick peaches, I started picking. The peaches I picked myself tasted better than the ones I usually buy at supermarkets.
