First experience of Niseko skiing Hanzono
#Japan Attractions Niseko Skiing
90% of the photos were taken with the help of the coach🥰
The first two days really just felt like going away
I'm talking about the Snowboard not the coach 🤣
Last booked in November
I can only book two nights in a hotel when I go in December
So the first time I had to leave after only two days of playing
So we went skiing in Hakuba again in March
This time I skated for 5 days, enough skin 🥰
🌟The last few photos the Christmas tree🎄 is so beautiful
🌟 Very lucky to photograph the whole mountain of sheep's hoof

Mt Fuji Moments✨
Epic views and perfect photos in Fukaya? Yes please! 🤩⛩️ Made a day trip out to Fujaya and trekked up to the stunning Fuji Sengen Shrine (16 Motosumicho, Fukaya, Saitama)—trust me, the climb is totally worth it when you catch Mt Fuji looming behind the iconic five-story pagoda. The skies were crystal clear, so photos (and selfies) absolutely SLAPPED.
Top Spot to Visit
Fuji Sengen Shrine (open 24/7): This is THE place for that unreal Mt Fuji + pagoda combo shot. The steps are a bit of a workout, but you get a killer view plus lots of trees and that classic touch of Chinese-inspired architecture. Pro tip: Visit on a sunny day for those super vibrant snaps—and beat the crowds by arriving early!
Getting There & Around
From Tokyo, hop on the Joetsu Shinkansen or Takasaki Line to Fukaya Station (about 90 minutes from Tokyo). It’s just a quick local bus/taxi ride to the shrine. Public transport runs smoothly and is super efficient (Japan level: expert), so no need to rent a car.
Pro Traveler Tips
Pack good walking shoes—the climb has a ton of stairs. Bring water and a portable battery for all the photos you’ll be taking. No tickets or reservations needed for Fuji Sengen Shrine, great for spontaneous plans!

✨ A journey through Eiichi Shibusawa's hometown, Fukaya: A Tale of Blue Sky
I traveled to Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, known as the birthplace of Shibusawa Eiichi.
This trip allowed me to experience the man who laid the foundations for modern Japanese industry and economy at his actual location.
My first stop was the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Museum.
The life-size figurine of Eiichi standing on the podium was incredibly detailed,
and the permanent exhibit learning about the "theory of the unity of morality and economics" was particularly impressive.
It was here that I really understood why he appeared on Japanese banknotes.
Next, I visited Nakanoie, the former Shibusawa residence.
With its spacious tatami room, powerful pillars and beams, and tranquility in the garden,
it was a place where I could really get a feel for the kind of family Shibusawa Eiichi grew up in.
There is also a bronze statue on the grounds, which gives a sense of the weight of Eiichi's life.
Fukaya also has a history of Eiichi's involvement in making indigo balls,
and I also found the sign explaining the origins of the place name "Kewajima" (Chiaraijima) intriguing.
It was a very enriching experience, both in terms of a journey through history and learning about business and economics.

"Shibusawa Eiichi" Storehouse inside Nakanoie
This area was once covered with indigo fields, and since the Shibusawa family was involved in the production of indigo balls, it was used as a storehouse.
The atmosphere of the Meiji and early Showa periods remains, and it is a rare opportunity to preserve it for free even in the Reiwa era.

'Ikina Kurobei Hanazono' is a beloved yakiniku restaurant that has been serving customers for 37 years under the motto of 'Delicious,' 'Affordable,' and 'Fun.' The restaurant's biggest appeal lies in its ability to offer a luxurious dining experience comparable to high-end establishments, all at a reasonable price. 🖤
The exterior, as the name suggests, features a stylish black fence surrounded by a garden, creating a serene Japanese atmosphere reminiscent of a high-class ryotei (traditional Japanese restaurant). Additionally, all seating is either private rooms or private-style horigotatsu (sunken kotatsu) seats, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting without worrying about others. This makes it ideal for family gatherings, dining with friends, or company parties.
The menu offers carefully selected high-quality meats, including Japanese beef, at affordable prices. One of the signature dishes is the 'Tender Domestic Beef Kalbi,' which is meticulously hand-cut by skilled chefs to ensure the meat is served at its peak flavor. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat menu without compromising on the quality of the yakiniku, making it a popular choice for those seeking generous portions. Conveniently located as a roadside establishment, it is easily accessible and offers lunch service on weekends, making it a great option for family outings.

[Saitama/Fukaya🇯🇵] The cutest egg shop🥚Hanazono TAMAYA
Hanazono TAMAYA, an egg shop in Fukaya City, boasts delicious fresh eggs and a homey atmosphere. 🥚
We pride ourselves on our simple menu, featuring locally grown, locally-sourced Fukaya brand eggs, allowing you to fully enjoy the quality of the ingredients.
Our biggest attraction is undoubtedly the fresh eggs delivered directly from our own farm.
You'll be amazed by the color and rise of the yolk the moment you crack it open, and the odorless, creamy flavor elevates simple dishes. 🐔
Our sweets, including puddings and chiffon cakes, are also incredibly popular.
They are rich yet refreshing, allowing you to directly experience the quality of the ingredients.
The interior of the shop has a relaxing, warm wooden ambiance, making it a great cafe, or you can purchase fresh eggs and sweets from the direct sales corner as souvenirs.
Since the eggs we buy every day at the supermarket are being affected by rising prices, why not spend a little extra to enjoy delicious eggs? 🥚

I finally visited this place I've been wanting to go to every year. I took a casual trip from Tochigi to Saitama 🚗💨. Right now, the lilies are in full bloom 🌼.
With 20,000 lilies swaying in the wind, the scenery of flowers blooming across the field was like a painting—absolutely stunning𓈒𓏸𓂂.
The vibrant lilies in full bloom were so beautiful that they seemed to chase away the summer heat.

Fukaya Cinema, located about a 10-minute walk from Fukaya Station, is highly recommended.
Within the same premises as Fukaya Cinema, there are cafes, antique shops, Taiwanese food, and more, so you can enjoy not only the movies but also the surroundings.
The buildings all have a great atmosphere and are worth seeing.
Although the photos are dark and hard to see, the Taiwanese food at Taiwan Zhuang Urufuudo in the second photo smelled delicious.
Although not in the photos, there is nothing particularly noteworthy on the way from Fukaya Station to Fukaya Cinema, except for one large liquor store where the sake lees I bought were very, very delicious.
I didn't have much time, so I only had the almond tofu, but it was also very delicious.
