📍 Iwabe Cruise, Fukushima A place I've always wanted to visit. My dream finally came true✨✨ I highly, highly recommend it! 🚤 Steep cliffs 💙 Crystal-clear Fukushima Blue 🕳️ Caves accessible only by boat 🐬 You might even see dolphins if you're lucky! My iPhone doesn't do it justice at all, but it's actually so much bluer in person! (I feel bad about how poorly the photos capture it) It's different from Shakotan Blue, Shikotsu Blue, and Mashu Blue. This is "Fukushima Blue"!! To say it's amazing is an understatement. And it wasn't just the scenery that blew me away. The captain shares fascinating stories about the local history and nature, and listening to him while taking in the views turns it from "just a cruise to see pretty sights" into something much more: a moment to truly feel the story of the place✨ It was a sophisticated cruise, offering far more than just Instagrammable spots✨ On the boat ride back, "Is it over already?" That's how much fun I was having. Plus, with everything included, the price is unbeatable. Honestly, the value for money was absolutely fantastic. #springtravel Visiting the Chiyonoyama and Chiyonofuji Memorial Museum in Hokkaido Prefecture is an absolute treat for anyone interested in the world of sumo wrestling. This impressive facility honors two of the most iconic grand champions who both hailed from this small seaside town. I was blown away by the massive collection of trophies and beautiful ceremonial aprons on display. Seeing the sheer number of awards really helps you appreciate the incredible dedication and strength required to reach the top of the sport. The museum even features a full scale training ring which gives you a great sense of the intensity of a real match. It is a very well organized and respectful tribute to these local heroes. I loved learning about their life stories and seeing the vintage photos from their legendary careers in the ring.

"Yokozuna Chiyonoyama/Chiyonofuji Memorial Hall" is located along National Route 228. Parking is available at the roadside station opposite the building. There are JAF discounts available, but the best deal is the set ticket (700 yen for adults) that includes the Fukushima Town Seikan Tunnel Memorial Museum, which is a few hundred meters away. Many related materials such as Chiyonofuji's activities, trophies, shields, and certificates were on display. It seems that taking photos is not prohibited.

Visit Shirafu Daijingu Shrine in Shirafu, Fukushima Town. This is a medium-sized shrine about 100 meters from National Route 228, on top of a hill with a huge cypress tree. A beautiful brown first torii gate, stone steps made of round stones hardened with concrete, and a large onko tree. Turn left and see the second brown torii gate. The stone steps continue. From the Chozuya, turn right up the stone steps and when you reach the top, you will see a shrine building with a red roof. A small shrine with a red roof and walls has a stone staircase on the upper left. No company office.
