Lianbaoyeze is located at the junction of Sichuan, Qinghai, and Gansu provinces. It is a branch of the Bayan Har Mountains and means "Dignified Jade Peak" in Tibetan. Locals also call it the "Stone Mountain." It is a famous sacred mountain in the Amdo Tibetan region. The area features majestic mountains and numerous lakes scattered like stars. Due to its magical and bizarre landforms, it is known as the real-life "Demon Realm" and the "Heavenly God's Backyard." 1. Core Attractions and Activities The Lianbaoyeze scenic area is vast, but currently, the main developed route centers around Zhaga'er Lake. Here are some must-visit spots: Zhaga'er Lake: This is the most central and well-developed attraction in the park. Visitors can drive to a nearby parking lot and then hike or take a short shuttle to the lakeside. Zhaga'er Lake is a high-altitude lake surrounded by magnificent peaks. The water is serene and clear, embodying both softness and strength, representing a perfect blend of grandeur, danger, and beauty. 4520 Viewing Platform: At an altitude of 4,520 meters, it is one of the highest points in the park. You can drive up from Heyuan Service Station by self-driving or queue for a ride, or challenge yourself by hiking along the plank road. The summit offers excellent views, overlooking winding roads below and distant mountain ranges, making it a great spot for photography. Transportation and Tickets Transportation: There is currently no public transportation directly to the park. Self-driving, chartering, or carpooling are the main ways to get to Lianbaoyeze. It takes about 1 hour (approximately 40 km) by car from Aba County to the park entrance. Ticket Price: Admission is about 120 RMB per person. The park is large, so it is recommended to buy a sightseeing bus ticket (about 60 RMB per person) to save a lot of energy.
