#playground
During my trip to Gothenburg, I stumbled upon a fantastic playground in Slottsskogen Park, and it became a highlight of my day! This free-entry playground is perfect for kids, with a variety of fun areas like swings, climbing frames, and a huge slide. It’s surrounded by the peaceful greenery of the park, making it a relaxing spot for parents too.
What I loved most was how close it was to the zoo, where you can see native Swedish animals like moose and seals. After the playground, I took a short walk to the Gothenburg Natural History Museum, which was another great way to spend the afternoon. If you're visiting with family, this spot is a must! 🌳🛝🐻

✔️Stockholm City Hall City Center: Located on the shores of Lake Mälaren, it was built in 1911. It is the image and representative of Stockholm. It is the office of the city's Municipal Council and the place where the Nobel Prize is celebrated after the award. The exterior wall of the entire building is brick red and is built near the water. The towers stand majestically, forming a strong contrast with the gentle buildings spreading along the water. Coupled with the highly decorative longitudinal windows, the entire building is like a sailing ship, magnificent and majestic. .

Beautiful countryside of Västra Götaland, Sweden!
Countryside of Västra Götaland, Sweden. Come over for the weekend, the fruits of our own home are so abundant that they fall all over the ground. We had to take out the long-unused equipment that looks like a deep wooden barrel, put the not-so-large apples into the machine to crush them, then wrap them in cloth, put them into the 'deep wooden barrel', then put in the weighty wooden blocks, and finally tighten it, the apple juice comes out from the trough, dark red, pure fruit juice, without adding a drop of water. If you're still not satisfied, you can directly pick one from the tree, rub it on your clothes, and eat it directly. You have to be down-to-earth when you come here.
Discovering Gothenburg: A Guide to Art, Amusement, and Cuisine
Hey there! I recently went on a trip to Gothenburg#境外遊 , and it was an amazing experience. This charming city in Sweden has a lot to offer, from its museums and art galleries to its amusement park. Here's my trip review:
One of the highlights of my trip to Gothenburg was visiting the city's museums of art. Gothenburg has several world-class art museums, including the Gothenburg Museum of Art and the Hasselblad Center. The Gothenburg Museum of Art has an impressive collection of Nordic and international art, ranging from the 15th century to contemporary works. The Hasselblad Center is dedicated to photography and hosts exhibitions of some of the world's top photographers. It's definitely worth visiting both museums if you're a fan of art.
Another highlight of my trip was visiting Liseberg, the city's famous amusement park. Liseberg is one of the largest amusement parks in Scandinavia and has something for everyone, from thrilling roller coasters to family-friendly rides. The park also has a variety of restaurants and entertainment options, making it a great place to spend a day with friends or family.
Apart from these attractions, Gothenburg is also a great city for foodies. The city has a vibrant food scene, with plenty of restaurants serving everything from traditional Swedish cuisine to international dishes. One of my favorite spots was the Fish Market, where you can try all sorts of fresh seafood. And let's not forget about fika, the Swedish tradition of coffee and pastry - there are plenty of cafes where you can enjoy a delicious fika break.
Getting around Gothenburg is easy thanks to the city's excellent public transportation system. You can take the tram or bus to get around the city, or even rent a bike to explore on your own. The city is also very walkable, with many attractions located within walking distance of each other.
Overall, my trip to Gothenburg was fantastic. The city has a great mix of culture, entertainment, and food, making it a great destination for anyone looking to explore a new city. Whether you're a fan of art, amusement parks, or just good food, you're sure to have a great time in Gothenburg.

Gothenburg city in Sweden
#gothenburg in #sweden has an industrial and ship making history, and is a very interesting place to visit if you are on #holiday
There is so much so see in the old town with the historic buildings which are beautifully built and you can find many picture perfect alley there. Once across the River, you will find the more modern and artistic university buildings and offices there.
To get around is easy, most places are within walking distance, otherwise take buses or public transport. Places outside of town close early especially on weekends so do plan your trip carefully. Domestic flights link it to the rest of Sweden and Copenhagen is a short train ride away!

Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel Gothenburg
Had a great time at the wonderful #radissonblu riverside hotel in #gothenburg #sweden
This hotel has an amazing rooftop jacuzzi, pool, sauna and hang out space facing the city and offers superb views. In fact the sauna also comes with a view overlooks the city too, so it’s great to go there to unwind and relax.
hotel has a bit of an industrial chic vibe and the restaurant and bar looks very good and serves very good food and drinks, another nice place to chill.
Room decor is also very cool and space is good, bed is very comfortable.
To get to the hotel, can take a bus as it’s very convenient. It is located near universities and some offices, so gets very quiet over the weekend and evenings.

Gothenburg Fish Market - Fresh Seafood!
The #gothenburg fish market has all the freshest seafood you can find in Sweden!
it is also called Feskekorka in Swedish and this market is located in Fijstorget 4 and accessible via public transport and is easy to spot.
The exterior of the fish market is unique as it kind of looks like a church.
Inside the fish market, you can find many stalls selling fresh seafood and most of them are caught on the same day. so rest assured for its freshness.
aside from bringing them back to cook, you can of course by the fresh seafood and eat it on the spot, there are dining areas outside where you can sit there and enjoy your meal.

Cycling the South Styrian Wine Road through winding roads that weave past and through the rolling hills of Südsteiermark vineyards and nature. There's a 6-hour signposted cycle route you can follow that passes through Ehrenhausen, although you can shorten the loop to a 4-hour journey. We stayed overnight at Weingut Dreisiebner Stammhaus and on the following day went to the town of Leibnitz and its adjacent Flavia Solva site of old roman town remains.

The Gothenburg Museum of Art is also one of the places I recommend to punch in. It is worth spending half a day to appreciate the art in the museum. One of the most fascinating art galleries in Northern Europe, it houses collections from the 15th century to the present, and it has a large collection of Nordic and international works of art. It is the Swedish three-star attraction selected by the Nordic Michelin Green Guide, which displays excellent Nordic classics. In addition to artists from the Nordic region, there are paintings by famous Dutch and French artists such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso, Monet and many more. Classic works of art edify sentiment, there are many modern exhibitions in the museum, and there is a tour time at the door. Hong Kong, as a photography enthusiast, I can also be inspired.
The Haga region is the oldest street in Gothenburg. It was originally on the outskirts of the city and gradually transformed into a lively center of the city as the city's development changed. The cobblestone pedestrian street that we laughed at as the "killer" of the trolley case, the brick house on both sides of the road, plus one of the homework workshops and antique shops... together create a sense of time.
The Gothenburg Town Hall Square, also known as Gustav Adolf Square, is named after the King Gustav Adolf Square in Sweden. The City Hall is located in the heart of Gothenburg. In the center of the square stands the sculpture of the founder of Gustav Adolf II, the city of Gothenburg. The white building behind it is the town hall.
Compared with other cities, the Town Hall Square and the City Hall are not big. Fortunately, the view is wide, the ground is very clean, and the riverbank is guarded. A group of well-behaved pigeons come here to sunbathe, and the lazy flying is not happy. Even after my pursuit, I walked at a constant speed. The surrounding roads extend in all directions, and the blue trams shuttle back and forth are one of the city's scenery. Under the backdrop of it, the street has a retro taste.
The Gothic architectural style marks the Gothenburg Fish Market the title of Fish Church. It is built next to the beautiful harbor, which is convenient for fresh fish to be traded at the first time. Although today's fish market does not see the lively trade scene more than 100 years ago, it still inherits the traditional fish food, carrying the city's human fireworks.
The weather is fine. When the weather is calm, buy some snacks or dinner in the fish church, sit on the coast and taste the delicious food. Half of the sea breeze is refreshing, and the travel is easy. At the moment, I am not as comfortable as it seems. In fact, the last second with a hat, the next second messy hair, stiff facial expression, boringly sold out the real state. You can also learn about my "dedication" from the wear of the people around me. This style is really "cold". The girlfriends who took pictures of me are not as relaxed as they are, and they have to accept the elegant long skirts. Laughing at the wind and laughing at my embarrassment. The distance between the two is only 2-3 meters, but the communication is difficult, the wind will be far away from our dialogue...
need to pay attention to the fish market opening hours:
June to August Monday to Saturday; From September to May, Tuesday to Saturday
currently September, the notice posted at the door reads: Monday-Friday 10-18 points
I dont know if I have not changed the notice in time. In short, I want to see how the family inside the fish church is open, and it is time to choose insurance.
Spa day in Gothenburg

💡 Tips
Get there early, do the lunch time slot. It’s well with the super reasonable price. Lunch is included and there is unlimited teas and coffees too. Dreamy couple hours before it gets busy!
The lunch was amazing - there was a guacamole/edamame dip with tortilla chips, an incredible burrata salad for the veggies and a little fruit salad for dessert.
Would 100% go back!
💰Average Price per Person: £25 including lunch

Gothenburg | The brilliant night life vibe in nice restaurant
The night in Gothenburg is truly beautiful. Looking down from a tall building on a weekend evening, the shimmering water is breathtaking.
Brasserie Draken requires a reservation, and it's especially lively on weekend evenings. The atmosphere at the rooftop bar at night is super vibrant and fun.
🦞 The seafood platter is excellent, with various types of shrimp and lobster that are fresh, tender, and bouncy. The diverse selection of amazing sauces complements the natural flavors of the ingredients while adding extra layers of taste.
🐑For the main courses, my friends and I had lamb, beef, and chicken. The lamb was perfectly cooked with no gamey taste, and the sauce had beans in it, making it much better than what I've had in the UK. The beef is seared right in front of you with butter and pepper, giving off a fantastic aroma, and the meat is tender with an exceptional texture. The chicken was also delicious, served with lots of vegetables and beautifully plated.
🍮 The desserts are homemade, with a delicate texture. The after-dinner dessert was truly a highlight!

Gothenburg is the brilliant choice for solo travel. There are a variety of coffee shops which are good for working or relaxing.
The café is located in the center of Gothenburg, and the interior design is perfect, with great lighting, comfortable sofas, and a good selection of food and coffee. It's like having a café inside a home decor store—so impressive.
Plus, the Wi-Fi is very stable, making it easy to bring a laptop and work here. They even have power outlets.

Best Ice-cream in town (one of the best in the country!!!)
Just a week before our summer vacation ends, and it was a really sunny day in Gothenburg, so we decided that we needed to treat ourselves with some ice-cream 🍦
We went to Gelaterian for the first time and so surprised with how long the line was(but thankfully, it moved quickly) because I’m quite familiar with a lifestyle in Japan that usually you will have to wait in a long line for a good food. But not here,I’ve never seen anything quite like this in Sweden before, and it was exciting!
As expected, Gelaterian did not disappoint us at all💕

Yes, this where the Volvo story began. But Gotherburg or Goteborg, amongst the world's most sustainable cities has so much more to offer to travellers. Amongst the biggest of cities in Sweden. I love it's location. It took me a little less than 3 hours of riding the ferry before I arrived from Denmark to Sweden. I was told norway was merely 2 hours of driving. I like crossing over to countries by the sea and land borders. Compared to the drag that airports have become.
While on this trip I also covered Malmo, Jonkoping and Stockholm. I found Gothenburg to be the most lively of them all. There also seemed to be a lot more immigrants here. I wouldn't comment on that as a positive or negative but just an observation.
The trams were a wonderful experience and affordable. I mostly used them for getting around in gothenburg. During my 3 nights in this city I visited several interesting places that I recommend. Namely consisting of Museums. There is the Volvo Museum, Gothenburg Museum of Natural History. Other than that I saw the Botaniska Trädgård. Huge free garden ! There also js the iseberg Tivolí where one could ride rollercoasters and other amusement rides. Around 45 bucks for a whole day pass.#myhiddengems #summerholidays #sverige #svesnka #volvo #sweden #solotrip #summergetaway #singapore
