Entry and parking are free! Awesome! A safe athletic facility. You worry about small children falling over. The ground is cushioned and safe. During the Edo period, Mt. Oyama was popular among the common people as a sacred mountain. Although it is a mountain with an altitude of over 1,000m, it is popular because it is easy to climb. You can either climb it properly or climb it easily using the cable car. It is about an hour and a half from Shinjuku by train and bus, and its easy access from the city center is also the secret to its popularity. Sonbutsu Sanso is a mountain lodge at the top of Tonodake. If you stay here, you can enjoy the sunset, starry sky, and sunrise. The climb up Okura Ridge is finally coming to an end. After passing Kinhiyashi, there is a series of wooden stairs. Once you reach the top, you will reach Tonodake. Hanadate Sanso marks the end of the Okura Ridge. When you see this, you're almost at the junction with Mt. Nabewari, and beyond that is Mt. Tonodake. The view from here is truly amazing, and it's a perfect spot for a break. You can also get food. #mountaineering #photogenicspot #gw2022jp

Miharashichaya is one of the teahouses at the beginning of the Okura Ridge. As the name suggests, the first view point of the Okura Ridge is right in front of the building. #springtravel Hadano Tokawa Park in Kanagawa Prefecture is a fantastic getaway for anyone who loves the great outdoors without wandering too deep into the wilderness. The star of the show is definitely the Wind Bridge, a massive and beautiful suspension bridge that connects the two sides of the park over a rocky riverbed. It is the perfect spot for a casual weekend trip since the park is surrounded by the stunning Tanzawa Mountains. You can find lush flower gardens that change with the seasons, from bright tulips in the spring to cosmos in the fall. There are plenty of wide open spaces for a picnic and even a river where you can splash around during the warmer months. It is a super relaxing place that offers a fresh breath of mountain air and some seriously great photo opportunities.

There were worshippers even on weekdays, so I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing time. It seems that events are held regularly, so it's a fun shrine to plan your next visit. A moment of "quiet" time surrounded by the gentle scent of plants. It's an experience that makes you feel the greatness of Japan🇯🇵 even more🙏 It's one of the rare places where you can feel the power of Izumo without having to go all the way to Shimane Prefecture😌 Thank you🙏

#cherryblossom25 Who could resist a whole mountain wrapped in cherry blossoms? 😍 A few days ago, I took the JR train from Nagoya—about two hours—to Matsumoto. The hotel staff recommended Kōbōyama Kofun for cherry blossom viewing, and I’m so glad I went! 🙌 Compared to other popular spots, this one was quiet, peaceful, and almost surreal. The cherry trees here are gigantic (check out photo 10 if you go!), and when you reach the top, you’re surrounded by 4,000 blooming trees, forming a soft pink ocean 🌸🌊 🏞️ Below you lies the calm spread of Matsumoto City, and far in the distance, the snow-covered Japanese Alps complete the breathtaking panorama 🏔️💕 Walking along the paths between the blossoms, you hear the gentle rustle of petals falling, and the sweet fragrance of cherry blossoms fills the air. It’s one of those rare places where you just want to stop, close your eyes, and soak in the moment. We went hiking to "Kobo-yama Park", which is about 1 hour and 10 minutes away from Shinjuku! Kobo-yama Park is made up of three mountains: Mt. Asama, Mt. Gongen, and Mt. Kobo. It's a low mountain with a height of 243m, so even beginners can easily start hiking. It takes about an hour to reach the summit, so it's a great way to get some exercise after a long time. In early April, the Somei-Yoshino cherry blossoms are in full bloom, so you can see the vivid scenery. There are tables and chairs at various points on the way to the summit, so we recommend bringing a lunch box and relaxing!
