[German Recommendation] - Hannover City Hall survived under artillery fire
The City Hall in the city center is a relatively famous attraction in Hanover. It was opened in 1913 and has experienced the ravages of war and the changes of the times, but it still stands in Hanover. The exterior is gorgeously designed, and the clock displays every minute and second. It’s not super beautiful, but it’s still pretty good! We entered the interior, and there were Hanover models from four eras placed in the middle. From the seventeenth century to around World War II and now. Hannover all plays an important role.
During World War II, the entire Hannover was under artillery fire, and most of the buildings were destroyed by the war. So we are lucky enough to have contemporary buildings that are extremely rare.

The steam train slowly approches among the forest, it was like living in a beautiful painting.
The Old Town has now become a historical reserve, with many famous old pubs and restaurants in Hanover. When the weather is fine, everyone will come here to have a drink. I asked Halsen to like to drink? He smiled and said: German men have three things that can't be less, football, beer and sausage, thirsty, let's drink.
Although I am thirsty, I prefer German milk because it is cheaper than water, but I am also obsessed with Halsen's enthusiasm. Well, I understand that Germans drink alcohol without saying a word.
After drinking the wine, I was a little overwhelmed, and I followed Halsen to the center of the old city. He said that there is a market church worth seeing. Well, you go ahead, I slow down, What do the Germans do to brew the height of the beer?
swaying to the front, almost every German city has a market church. Before the 19th century, it was a busy place. All the vendors and craftsmen gathered in the square in front of the church to sell their agricultural and sideline products. Therefore, it has become the center of a city, and the church is also crowded. Next to the
market church is the old town hall, typical of the northern German Gothic style, which is now used as a rental venue for events.
For Hanover, I only know that this is the hometown of the mathematician Gauss, and the rest, there is no concept. Fortunately, with friends, there is no concern. The first place that Halsen brought me is Hanovers new town hall. This is a century-old building that was built in 1913, but it is very beautiful. Bright colors, I believe that many people can't wait to see it at the first sight of the lake.
Unlike China's Tuen Mun Gate, most of Germany's city halls are open to tourists. They can even take a 3 Euro elevator to the top of the tower, overlooking Hanover.
When you climbed the top of the tower, you will suddenly see it. This is a small town surrounded by green trees and lakes. It just grows like I like it. It is exquisite, delicate, and with a literary fan. I even admire it a bit. The life of Halsen comes.
Later in the evening, Halsen drove me once again. The night city hall had a feeling of a fairy tale castle, which really murdered the girl's heart.
Listen up, this is how you should explore Hannover, Germany.

Check in at Hanover with rock legend Sting
Time: 2023/12/7 20:00
Venue: ZAG Arena
Sting's German tour is still underway, and this time Hanover is a culturally rich city with many artistic and historical sites. Let's see what attractions are worth checking out~
1. Herrenhausen Gardens
The Herrenhausen Gardens are one of the famous European Baroque style gardens. As early as 1638, the Duke of Calenberg began to build this garden. Over three centuries, the garden has seen many changes in ownership, leading to significant reconstruction and expansion.
2. New Town Hall
Inside the New Town Hall, the elevator to the top observation deck is particularly noteworthy. The elevator climbs 50 meters at a 17-degree angle along the arched ceiling, making it one of Europe's inclined elevators. From the rooftop, one can take in the full view of Hanover and truly appreciate its nickname 'The Green Metropolis'.
3. Market Church of Hanover
The Market Church is located in the heart of Hanover's old town and is one of the three oldest churches in Hanover, as well as one of the larger churches in Lower Saxony. Most of the building still retains the 14th-century North German architectural style. The church's roof was destroyed in an air raid in 1943 and was restored to its original state in 1952. The church, at 97 meters tall, is a symbol of Hanover.
Join us on December 7th, at the intersection of the North German Plain and the Central German Uplands, to experience the live performance of rock legend Sting~
