I was kindly invited to try @everyfishbar in Harrow who serve up your traditionally made fish and chips as well as West African and Caribbean dishes! I love how everything is prepared authentically, if you just want fish and chips then do that properly but also have their Afro-Caribbean options e.g jerk cod with either chips or jollof, which was too good, as well as their chicken and beef suya- definitely my faves! They have an off the menu item too, ask for the juicy prawns in this video 👀. All reasonably priced (full meal is average £13-£15.30) and is halal. Vegan fish is also sold here. WOW THIS AFGHAN FOOD 😍🔥 We checked out London’s award winning Afghan restaurant @masa.restaurant.ldn and honestly have fallen in love - this place has been featured in countless newspapers/articles and even the go-to for many celebrities over the years and we finally checked them out! The food here was amazing but you guys have to TRY the lamb shoulder! This was soooooo good. They also have a lovely events n the restaurant that is available for private hire/parties. We had the following: *Charsi Karahi *Kabuli pulao *Mixed grill *Aubergine curry *Mantu *Lamb shoulders *Paneer tikka *Chapli kebab *Sea bass *Sheeryak *Falooda The mixed grill from here was so delicious! It had all the best options such as chicken and lamb kebab with lamb chops and Chapli kebab! We loved the variety of options you get and this is the perfect option for families. The lamb shoulder was the stand out dish for us! It contained so many natural juices, fell apart from the bone and melted with every bite. It was succulent, soft and the juiciest lamb shoulder we have ever had. We also tried Afghani kabli pulao, one of our favourite dishes! Kabuli Rice is a pulao based dish that is infused with aromatic spices and layered with sweetened carrots and raisins. We loved the sweet element to it and with charsi karahi this was a killer combination! We also tried some of their aubergine curry! This were delicious and went well with the massive Afghan naan provided. We also had manti. It’s a dumpling filled with meat and topped off with yoghurt and spices. It was very nice to say the least. We loved the Sheeryak and Falooda here too - an absolute must try - it was our first time trying Sheeryak and we are obsessed! AFGHAN SOFT SERVE 😍 from @baharistan_ice_cream 🍦 in Harrow 👌🏼 It’s a really tall ice cream, they apparently serve it like this in Afghanistan too! 🇦🇫 They have 4 flavours - vanilla, mango, banana & chocolate and you can get vanilla mango together or banana chocolate together 🍨 I tried the vanilla mango and it was really refreshing and delicious! They have every type of Naan imaginable, ensuring there’s a Naan for everyone! Elevate your meal with their irresistible naans, the perfect blend of tradition and taste. We absolutely loved the suji halwa! It was the best I’ve had in the UK. This delicious Pakistani dessert was a real treat. We also enjoyed the piri piri and the vegetarian naan.
