A Short but Intense One-Day Itinerary in Hiroshima (Food, Shopping, Cafes).
Introduction to the Hiroshima one-day itinerary
⭐️Photos are uploaded chronologically
Cafes
· 24/7 coffee&roaster
(1F, 1-26 Nakamachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0037, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/63PZYNC66Bipnnfo9?g_st=ic
A cafe where the lemon coffee is absolutely delicious (it's also famous for brunch, so having coffee and a sandwich for lunch would be a great idea).
There's a cafe right in front, making it a lovely spot to visit on a nice day.
· bagtown coffee
(2-1 Fukuromachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0036, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/4BhDBaTp9v5XEv6G8?g_st=ic
Today's coffee - I had a drip coffee and a latte (you could definitely tell their expertise, the coffee was amazing, and above all, the vibe of the shop was fantastic).
I highly recommend stopping by for a taste while you're shopping around Hondori.
Food
I started my first meal with okonomiyaki, an absolute must-eat when visiting Hiroshima.
· 焼道楽
(5-13 Shintenchi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0034, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/Xs4pQXNtTbHjx2yX8?g_st=ic
I accidentally wandered into Okonomimura, where many Hiroshima okonomiyaki restaurants are gathered, and it turned out to be the most satisfying first meal in Hiroshima.
(The owner was super friendly, and maybe it tasted even better because they cooked it right in front of me. I highly recommend checking it out.)
· Japanese BBQ Kuroyaki 炭火焼肉 黒焼
(13-22 Noboricho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0016, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/tJK1UWu1ELRvQtvL6?g_st=ic
This is the yakiniku spot I picked while riding the tram back and figuring out what to eat for dinner after a day of shopping.
(Ordering the course meal was such a great choice since you get to try a variety of meats and desserts.)
The beef tongue is so good that I'll still be dreaming about it long after this trip.
· 串道楽 楽車
(2F Kawano Building, 4-7 Ebisucho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0021, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ch5MauqKCnAwwWDV7?g_st=ic
I ended up getting drinks in Ebisucho at night and stumbled upon this place through a recommendation. Above all, the beer and yakitori were incredibly delicious. If you're looking to soak up the local atmosphere and grab another quick drink, I highly recommend visiting.
· 麺屋 一
(3 Chome-8-4 Kusunokicho, Nishi Ward, Hiroshima 733-0002, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/bBd2GmFfYW2atx3b6?g_st=ic
I wrapped up my final lunch in Hiroshima with ramen.
Since I'm a huge fan of garlic, I went for the shio tonkotsu ramen with extra garlic toppings.
(The doneness of the noodles and the flavor of the broth were top-tier. Honestly, it's the best ramen I've ever had in my life.)
Shopping
(Introducing select shops and clothing stores)
· ref.

(8-18 Fukuromachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0036, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/AG28d5pxPfC4qWgh9?g_st=ic
This is a North Face Standard store, and true to its name, there were plenty of pieces suitable for everyday wear, not just outdoor gear.
· VINCENT&MIA
(5-1 Nakamachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0037, Japan)
https://maps.app.goo.gl/4cwsvSSbnEkCPHFZA?g_st=ic
A select shop dedicated to women, offering a wide range of women's clothing.

I recommend stopping by if you want to check out the Comme des Garçons lines and Junya Watanabe.
✨The streets of Hondori and Fukuromachi are lined with various stores, making them absolutely perfect for a leisurely stroll and some window shopping. There's also a Parco department store nearby, and I'd recommend hopping on the tram to explore the area around Hiroshima Station as well.
· LUSH Hiroshima Hondori Store LUSH 広島本通り店
1-11 Hondori, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0035, Japan

https://maps.app.goo.gl/i6seYYDXMHMpCFUC6?g_st=ic
This was my second visit to Hiroshima, and I was even more satisfied with this stay than my previous one.
The price was very reasonable, and best of all, it was amazing to relax on the terrace at night with a drink using the free drink coupon they gave me at check-in.
The tram stop is right out front, making it super convenient to get around. It's an accommodation I'm highly satisfied with, especially because of its prime location.
(Highly recommended)
Bonus
· Atomic Bomb Dome 原爆ドーム
1-10 Otemachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima 730-0051, Japan
(https://maps.app.goo.gl/LdUQkt18n9korJ4W8?g_st=ic)
This is a historical monument you absolutely must visit when you come to Hiroshima.
(I strongly urge you to go.)
And with that, I'll wrap up my Hiroshima trip guide covering great eats, cafes, and more.
