Inner Mongolia | Nature's meandering river, the world's foremost meandering water
❤️Recommended reason:
The Morin Dawa River is famous for its numerous bends, winding from the northeast to the southwest through the Hulunbuir grasslands. Its course is circuitous and meandering, which can be described as having numerous twists and turns, earning it the title of "the world's foremost meandering water".
📝Note tips:
The Morin Dawa River scenic area has been completed, and there is a shuttle service at the entrance of the tourist service center. Currently, there is no formal ticketing operation. It is very likely that this area will become a charged scenic spot in the near future, and private vehicles will not be allowed to enter. Visitors will need to take the scenic area's shuttle bus to tour around.
The natural meandering river is breathtaking.
A journey at minus forty degrees

Ergun Wetlands Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
🌳Eergu’Na Wetlands in INNER MONGOLIA
While visiting Inner Mongolia, you have the chance to experience China’s biggest wetland area in Erguna. It is also, like pretty much everything else in China, the first known wetland in Asia.
This area is a National Park and has great infrastructure all the way around. At the entry and exit point, you will find yourself surrounded by little gift and snack shops, but they are a bit more pricey since it’s a tourist area.
With a large and well built boardwalk, you can go from one side to the other, and also go down the hill a bit into the wetlands. However, you cannot actually reach any parts of the river. From the top, the contrasting view between the city and vast green landscape makes for great pictures, and complement the scenery in a beautiful way.
At the end of the boardwalk, you will find a small museum which displays the multiple flora and fauna found in the wetlands. Some parts are interactive, so it’ll be a great break for the kids! There is also an exclusive gift shop inside with plush animals and other unique items from Inner Mongolia.
📍Erguna City
🎟 ¥65
🚌 ¥15 (but everywhere is completely walkable)

What kind of experience is it in the yurt weekend? Unlock the summer new experience
on the second night of the Hulun Buir grassland, my mother and I live in the yurt. This is probably the easiest house to build in the world: in the old days, it consisted of skylights, wood poles and walls, in a three-stage structure. High and small size, freely retractable, no burden to relocate.
Now, a few hundred years have passed, "When you are a room, the felt is a wall, and the meat is used as a pulp for the meat." Inner Mongolia has rarely seen the original residence. More, it is a "imitation" made of brick and tile cement.
Fortunately, where we live, there are still traces of authentic life. For example, open the skylight to see the stars, ride the gallops on the prairie, and around the campfire, come to a local dance party.
Tips: By the end of July to the beginning of September, the accommodation experience of the yurt is in short supply. If you are interested in living here, be sure to book in advance, per capita 200 ~ 350 yuan / night. After dinner, you can take part in some local experiences, such as wrestling contests, milking, night star watching, and more.
Erguna Birch Forest
The Erguna Wetland Park boasts boundless shrubbery and meadows, and is the largest wetland area in the country.
Winter in the wetland may not be as vibrant and colorful as summer, but it has its own unique charm.
Look at the dense withered woods and the ground covered with yellow grass, how they turn white overnight, coated with a thin layer of frost.
The Erguna Birch Forest is the closest primeval forest to the urban area.
Birch trees have always been known as the 'trees of purity', and the birch trees in Erguna have a distinct temperament compared to others.
The white trunks exude a noble quality, and upon closer inspection, the stumps are engraved with the marks of time.
By the Erguna River, there is a quaint and quiet ancient village called Linjiangtun.
The village has few households, but this is why it retains the most authentic and rich Russian ethnic style.
Living here seems to allow one to avoid all the worldly hustle and bustle.

Hulun Lake Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Visit the off-the-beaten-path scenery in Hulunbuir for a spring outing, and experience romance at the end of the world!
Come to Hulunbuir for a trip, this time we discovered an incredibly niche spot
It feels like romance at the end of the world!
This place is Hulun Lake~
📍 Transportation Guide
Navigate to "Hulun Lake Tie Horse Post" to get there
It's not a toll site, just park your car upon arrival
🚩 Travel Tips
✅ The whole Hulun Lake is quite large, but personally, I think just going to Tie Horse Post is enough, the scenery there is more spectacular
✅ It's recommended to bring a drone, the bird's-eye view is particularly stunning
✅ Due to geographical location and weather reasons, the grass here may not always be green (some photos I edited the colors, some I didn't, you can compare to see), I went in mid-June, the grass in other parts of Hulunbuir was all green, but not at Tie Horse Post, so be mentally prepared
✅ Hulun Lake is not a scenic spot, it's pure outdoor scenery, there are no restrooms or eateries, remember to bring your own food and drinking water
✅ Local herders will bring cattle and sheep, so the ground sanitation is average~

-
Today I have put together a super detailed travel and photography guide for everyone, hurry up and save it! Don't hesitate to grab your buddies and go!
The White Cliffs of England? I'm just watching the sea on the Hulunbuir grasslands
Legend has it that there was a carefree couple in the Mongolian tribe on the grasslands, the woman named Hulun, who was outstanding in both talent and beauty, and the man named Beier, who was good at riding and archery.
However, there was always evil coveting beauty and destroying the grasslands. Hulun was abducted, and Beier fought against the evil to save Hulun at all costs.
Alas, the evil was too powerful, and Hulun turned into a vast lake to drown the enemies, while Beier, in deep grief, also transformed into a lake to eternally guard by Hulun's side. This is the origin of today's Hulun Lake and Beier Lake.
This is also why the name Hulunbuir sounds so appealing.
There's no need to go abroad to experience the romantic white cliffs and the azure lakes.
It turns out you can also see the sea in Hulunbuir!
I just came back from Inner Mongolia and have compiled a super detailed guide to Hulunbuir.
I'll answer any questions you have, see you in the comments section.
✈️ Fly directly to Hailar Airport (Hailar is usually cheaper than Manzhouli)
🚅 Direct train to Hailar Station
D1: Hailar - Crossing the grasslands - Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner (scenery like computer wallpapers, herds of cattle and sheep along the way) - Cliff - Ergun Wetland Park - Ergun
D2: Ergun - Birch Forest - Enhe Russian Township - Shiwei
D3: Shiwei - Reindeer Park - Heishantou (also known as Kaxian: The most beautiful border road)
D4: Heishantou - Matryoshka Square - National Gate - Manzhouli

❗️❗️❗️Note:
During the daily itinerary, there are many scenic spots along the way, all exceeding expectations. Stop and take pictures whenever you like, there's no need to stick to a certain spot, just enjoy the journey.
🔖 The weather on the Inner Mongolia grasslands is unpredictable, with large temperature differences between day and night, so bring warm and windproof clothing.
🔖 If possible, prepare walkie-talkies, as there is no signal on the grasslands when taking photos at a distance, to protect your voice.
🔖 Pay attention to sun protection!
🔖 Sunrise at four o'clock, sunset at eight o'clock, the sunset and afterglow last for a long time.
🔖 Scenic spots generally charge a fee, ranging from 10-100 yuan. Bring your student ID, horse riding costs 100-300 yuan, holding a sheep around 100 yuan, grass sliding 100 yuan, reindeer 60-100 yuan.
🔖 If you need to cross the grasslands, many scenic spots within the grasslands are not navigable by maps, the grasslands are too vast, and many places have no mobile signal❗️❗️❗️For first-timers, it is recommended to hire a car with a tour guide to play, the cost is not expensive, and local drivers are very familiar with the scenic spots, making eating, living, and playing more worry-free.

Aoluguya reindeer village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
These two days of news have reported that Mohe, Aershan have begun to snow, it seems that Hulunbeier's ice and snow is about to open, and the small partners are not rushing to do a good job, to a wonderful ice romance.
1Aershan smog
Aershan is known as China's small Switzerland. The blue sky is reflected in the white clouds. The yellow huts are covered with thick snow and surrounded by smog. Distinct is the general in Andersen's fairy tale.
2Aershan unfrozen river
Aershan covered by snow and ice, there is a non-freezing river. In the winter when dripping water into ice, all the big rivers are frozen, only this river water, steaming, smooth The flow is natural, the fog on the river rises, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines, like a colorful cloud, it is spectacular.
3
is called the worlds first bag. There are four kinds of sacrifices for the bag, the bloody sacrifice, the jade jade sacrifice, the wine festival and the stone sacrifice. The blood sacrifice is brought by the local herdsmen to live the sheep, and the blood is taken from the neck and thrown out. The jade sacrifice is smashed with jade bracelets or jade, thrown out. The way of the wine festival is to drink wine sacrifices. The stone sacrifices are made of three or six small stones, which are thrown out after making a wish in the palm of your hand.
3 Hailar
Travel to Hailar, don't miss the chance to wear Mongolian clothes with Mongolian headwear and incarnate the Mongols. Colorful, styles of clothing, picking me dazzled, each one wants to try on the body, girls are no resistance to beautiful things.
4Russian style
Since the root river is close to Russia, there will be many Chinese and Russian descendants. They all have the faces of Russians, but they speak fluent Chinese. In Lilia Manor, the local Chinese and Russian descendants are holding a freshly baked Leba, a small dish of salt, and a cup of Kvass. It is said that Leba salt is the last courtesy of the Russians.
5
, are pure , they stocked 68 reindeer. Here you can see the pure Ewenki folklore, eat the special elk kebabs, the glutinous rice, the indigo plum fruit sauce, the sip of a hunter's own brewed liquor, the sip of a golden lotus tea, and listen to a hostess. Listen to folk songs and reindeer to get in touch.
6Manzhouli
Everyone has heard a word: there is a Suzhou under the heavens. The last sentence of this sentence is: it is not as bright as the lights in Manchuria. The lights in Manchuria make this border town full of prosperity and excitement, making the monotonous winter snowy nights wonderful. The
Wedding Palace is one of the landmarks in Manzhouli. Standing in the wedding palace, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the beautiful Manzhouli.
Aoluguya
Aoluguya is a tribe where the Ewenki people live, located on the bank of the Aoluguya River in the northernmost part of Genhe City, Hulunbuir City, and the western suburbs of Genhe City. It is the farthest and most mysterious place where a branch of the Ewenki people live. Aoluguya, also known as the Reindeer Ewenki, means a place where poplar forests thrive. Here is an introduction to Aoluguya:
