Trip to Hunan, China 🇨🇳
It was a trip to Hunan, China with family. We began our journey in Changsha, the vibrant capital of Hunan. A visit to Yuelu Academy, one of China’s oldest academic institutions, was a must for its serene architecture and scholarly atmosphere. The golden hour ☀️ in the courtyard was perfect for photos, with sunlight filtering through ancient trees 🌳 Later, we explored Orange Island (Juzizhou), capturing the massive Chairman Mao Statue with the Xiang River as a backdrop 😍

We also explored the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park 🌳 famous for its towering sandstone pillars that inspired the floating mountains ⛰️ in Avatar. For the best photos 📸 we recommend visiting Tianzi Mountain ⛰️ during sunrise for stunning views above the clouds ☁️ The Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, suspended over a deep canyon, gave us heart-racing shots with the breathtaking scenery beneath our feet 👣

We also explored Fenghuang Ancient Town (Phoenix Village), a picturesque riverside village with well-preserved Qing dynasty architecture. The vibrant night scene, with glowing red lanterns reflecting off the Tuojiang River, made for magical photos 📸 During the day, we wandered through the cobblestone streets and captured the iconic stilted houses along the riverbank. The best time for photos is early morning ⛅️ when the soft light bathes the town in a golden glow.

Lastly, we also explored to Tianmen Mountain ⛰️ where we rode the world’s longest cable car 🚠 to the summit. The Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate), a natural arch high in the mountain ⛰️ was a sight to behold. We recommend visiting in the morning ☀️ for fewer crowds and clearer views. The 99-Bend Road, zigzagging up the mountain, also provided thrilling photo opportunities from the cable car 🚠

We loved every moment of our Hunan adventure, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking breathtaking scenery and rich cultural experiences!
