Zion National Park is less than an hour and a half's drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. I was lucky enough to be selected to hike Angels Landing, considered one of the most challenging trails in the United States. Many reports and videos made it look terrifying, and when we actually hiked it, the elevation gain was truly immense. Some sections required using both hands and feet to climb, which was a bit scary. However, the trail was clearly marked, much easier than Rock Arch, and because only those with a lottery system could enter, everyone was very polite and yielded to those going up and down, so it wasn't too crowded. After reaching the summit, we returned to the visitor center for homemade sandwiches for lunch. In the afternoon, we headed to the Riverside Walk and the entrance to The Narrows canyoning trail. The Narrows is a well-known trail in Zion, requiring an 8-hour hike in the canyoning. Yes, you have to get completely soaked. We only hiked the Riverside Walk, took some photos at the canyoning entrance, and then headed back.
