I visited Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindelwald in Switzerland in March this year! Switzerland was my first time traveling abroad and traveling alone, so I was very nervous. I think the biggest obstacles when traveling abroad are probably the language, transportation, and security. So I'd like to talk about those three in my own words! First, about the language. In Switzerland, Swiss German and German are mainly used, but I can't speak German, let alone English lol, so I basically used a translator, but it was a breeze! Everyone was generally polite, and when they wanted to communicate something, they spoke slowly and in simple English, which was very helpful! Next, about transportation. In Switzerland, if you buy the "Swiss Travel Pass" in advance, you can ride basic trains and buses as much as you want during your trip! As an exception, mountain trains and ropeways are half price, so it costs a little. However, it's really easy because you don't have to buy tickets every time! Lastly, about security. I don't remember being scared of security in the Bernese Oberland area that I visited! On the contrary, I remember him being very kind, helping me when I didn't know how to get a ticket for the ropeway! There were no homeless people and the city was clean with no graffiti or trash! #100 Ways to Travel Jungfraujoch is known as the Top of Europe and is 4158m high. How to reach Jungfraujoch? 1. Go to Grindelwald terminal first, buy Jungfrau climbing ticket and then take the cable car to Egg station 2. After arriving at Egg Station, transfer to the Jungfrau Mountain Train to climb the Jungfrau. You will climb up quickly on the way and you may have altitude sickness. Remember to take medicine first👌👌 When you reach Jungfraujoch, your head will really hurt, but it happened to be snowing on the top of the mountain so some viewing platforms were closed. It was really cold outside, about -13 degrees Celsius, but the scenery was like overlooking the whole of Europe and standing above Europe. After the end, we arrived at the second famous point of this trip, the Jungfrau Ice Cave. Everything from the floor to the decorations were made of ice, which was very interesting (⛔️⛔️The floor is very slippery, so you have to hold on tightly, not with ice⛔️⛔️) After finishing your trip to Jungfraujoch, you can go to Egger Station to play in the snow and drink coffee for the whole afternoon, then go to Grindelwald to buy dinner in the evening and take some photos of the night view of Grindelwald on the way back to the hotel. 🏡Grindelwald is an important relay station for Swiss tourism. The train departing from here 🚞 goes to Jungfraujoch via Kleine Scheidegg 🏔️, making it a must-stop for most tourists. In order to make it easier to climb up in the morning, we stayed near the station. When we opened the window of the B&B, we could see the Eiger coming towards us. No matter how much money we spent, it was worth it❤️ 🏡This place like a fairy tale town is a warm green valley, backed by the Eiger north face and the Wetterhorn. It is full of peace, warmth and tranquility. The afternoon sun shines down, it’s too beautiful to be true, I don’t want to stop with my camera in hand📷 🏡We rode our bicycles for a walk and took pictures. Don’t be too happy when going downhill. On the way back, we ran out of energy and climbed uphill. I was so tired that I cried. Fortunately, we passed by a truck🚚 and gave us a lift. beautiful scenery at 1pm in interlaken this was taken back in early december… was mesmerised by the beauty of Switz and would definitely return for a second time with friends and family. the journey to interlaken was 2hrs long from our hotel and we reached at about 10am. roamed around the city area and met alot of nice and friendly people there were also a few dogs along the way that caught our attention haha. this trip was memorable and the money spend on this trip was definitely worth it. hope to be back real soon and be greeted with much more interesting places around interlaken

Recommended time: 6–8 hours. The Gornergrat Railway is a high-altitude cogwheel railway in Switzerland, connecting Zermatt with Gornergrat. It is renowned for its spectacular Alpine views, up-close perspectives of the Matterhorn, and year-round mountain sightseeing experiences, making it one of Switzerland's most iconic mountain railways. Route and Experience Spanning about 9 kilometers, the railway uses **rack railway** technology to conquer steep gradients, climbing from Zermatt at around 1,600 meters above sea level to over 3,000 meters at Gornergrat. Along the way, you can admire forests, alpine meadows, glaciers, and perennially snow-capped peaks. The terminal features an observation deck offering sweeping views of several 4,000-meter peaks and the famous Matterhorn.
