How to get there: The sones are located on the west side of Isle of Lewis, around 30min drive from Stornoway.
Outer Hebrides can be regarded as a remote area of the Su-Highland, and you can take a boat to the sea island on Sky Island or Aleppo. But in general, the sadness of the wilderness under the storm, the narrow seaside cliff road is not a popular travel taste after all.
The standing stones here have a fairly long history and are relatively well preserved in Europe, but since there is no background knowledge, I have not been able to understand their possible functions. There are many uninhabited islands in the
outer Hebrides, which can be returned to and from the boat on the same day. Perhaps it is more suitable for holidaymakers who like to stay away from the city and focus on sea fishing and wilderness activities.
