Highly recommend to visit to learn about what happened at the bloodiest battle in WW2. Rating - N/A 2. Peace Memorial Park Address - 444 Mabuni, Itoman, Okinawa 901-0333 Highlights - Vast and tranquil park that commemorates the Battle of Okinawa. It is a great place to walk around and feel like you are at a different place. Rating - N/A 3. Maeda Escarpment (Hacksaw Ridge Address - 2 Chome-53 Nakama, Urasoe, Okinawa 901-2103 Highlights - Another calm and beautiful place to explore. Similar vibe to the other historical place mentioned above. You can see the view of Urasoe area as well! Rating - N/A

It's really convenient for me to explore Itoman. 🏞️ Nearby attractions Komesu/Odohama Coast: Beautiful coastal views, a great place for a walk. Itoman Central Market: Experience local life and taste fresh food. Bibi Beach Itoman: A paradise for beach lovers. 🏡 Hotel environment The hotel environment is really beautiful and the service is very attentive. The design of the leisure area is relaxing and fully meets my quality requirements. 🛏️ Room experience The room is really great, with a wide view, fully equipped, and spacious. The air conditioning is powerful, the bed is comfortable, and the harbor view is refreshing. 🚗 Convenient transportation The hotel is not far away, the expressway is basically direct, and parking is also convenient. Quiet but not remote, the overall feeling is very good. 🍳 Kitchen facilities The kitchen facilities in the room are complete, with tableware, washing machines and dryers, which are as convenient as living in your own apartment. 🅿️ Parking experience The hotel has a parking lot, but there are not many parking spaces. The early bird catches the worm. #okinawatrip Hmm, I don't feel like the scale and the exhibition house are half-baked. After all, it will be compared to Ryukyu Village. In Ryukyu Village, there are many intangible cultural properties of the prefecture, and the number of houses on display is incomparable to that of Okinawa Local Village. If you want to learn about old private houses in Ryukyu, I think you should go to Ryukyu Village. Also, as of May 2020, restoration work of aging houses is being carried out, so it is not possible to see many exhibits. I would like to look forward to the Okinawa local village after the restoration. In the facility, there are various events where you can experience the old-fashioned Okinawa, such as shamisen experience, Kachashi experience, and seasonal events.

Itoman Bibi Beach

#okinawatrip It was a great day! Sun was out, wind was blowing (acting like a hair dryer), and water was warm for me.The views were incredible (which I had attached some pictures) & it was not even close to being crowded.We had eaten at the little cafe which was very convenient. It was affordable, and pretty good.. Beaches are clean, refreshments, shaded areas, and toilets available and, it is a good place to take family. Both times, I noticed wedding photographers, bring clients, to take pre-wedding photos, under the beautiful blue skies. This is highly recommended.

Nishizaki Water Park

#okinawatrip Fun location to walk around. The water park here is small and rules are strict within the actual water park but a great way to waste a few hours of your day if you have small kids. There are 4 different water slides available in the main water park. Around the sports complex you can find various parks and play areas.....................................

Peace Memorial Park in Okinawa

#okinawatrip It’s a park built to commemorate of those who died in Okinawa during the war. This is a place that every historian and younger generation should visit at least once when visiting Okinawa and remind us the tragedy and brutality that took place here. The park is huge and the views are breathtaking. Lots of parking available. Very similar to the Arlington Cemetry (USA) setup.
