Qinglong Palace – The Hidden Majestic Cathedral of Malacca
Who would have thought that Malacca has such a hidden gem...
Qinglong Palace (青龙宫) in Selandar is the most magnificent temple I've ever seen in Malacca.
Every corner is stunning and photogenic, especially during the evening when the lights are on. The atmosphere is so breathtaking that it feels like stepping into another world. 💡 The highlight is the central koi pond, which is as delicate and beautiful as an ancient Chinese painting.
Whether you want to shoot in warm tones, film tones, or luxurious tones, every filter works perfectly here. Located near Machap, it's easy to plan a paired trip.

Conquering Gunung Ledang: A Mystical Malaysian Trek⛰️
#outdooradventure
Trekking Gunung Ledang in Malaysia was an extraordinary adventure. Known for its steep trails and rich mythology, the hike presented a thrilling challenge. The journey through lush tropical rainforest, with diverse flora and fauna, made every step fascinating. The climb was strenuous, especially the steep and rocky sections, but the panoramic views from the summit were worth the effort. The mystical aura of Gunung Ledang, with its legends and folklore, added to the allure of the trek. The serene beauty of the surrounding landscape and the sense of accomplishment at the peak made this trek unforgettable. Gunung Ledang is a must-visit for avid hikers seeking both adventure and a touch of legend.

Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball in Melaka
Malacca is famous for Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls. There are too many good restaurants serving delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice at affordable prices. Hoe Kee is one of the popular ones among tourists because of its location. It is conveniently located at Jonker Street, just walk along the street and you will be able to see it. The chicken was extremely tender and fragrant with sesame oil, the rice balls were nice even just eating on its own. The rice balls look small but are actually quite filling. Worth visiting if you happen to be at Malacca Jonker Street.

Crepe Cake in Melaka

Ambience - Nostalgic & minimalist

A friend happens to work for this new kid (cake cafe) on block specialising in crepe cake. So we went to support her.
Business is really good and there’s a queue already forming. The cafe is quite small with 7-8 tables only.
They are crepe cake specialists and we ordered the 3 flavours that were available that day. Signature original crepe, dark chocolate crepe and Macchiato cheese crepe. Also ordered the mixed fruit tea and Hojicha. All shared by 6 of us.
The crepe cakes are indeed very good with generous cream in between the layers. Comparable if not better than the American brand (Lxxx M). Paired it with their generous fruit tea and fragrant Hojicha, all of us had a very satisfying afternoon tea snack. The queue of half hour is really worth it.
Will definitely visit it again when in Melaka.

Exploring Melaka,Malaysia
Exploring one of UNESCO’s world heritage site, learned about Melaka’s history which is a bit similar to my home country.Melaka was developed during the 16th century where it became the most important trading port in Southeast Asia.Indian,Arab and European merchants regularly visits there.
Melaka is a lot bigger as I expected, the city is quite extensive although all the sights are on the center,I noticed how clean the city is.
I enjoyed the local cuisine in Melaka which they call Nyonya, this aid a fusion between Chinese and Malaysian dishes that are quite spicy.
One more thing that I really enjoy here is that Melaka is full of beautiful street arts, entire buildings are painted or decorated with graffiti. One of the favorite is the one located near the Dutch Square at Kiehl’s office.

They use Colombian Brazilian Arabica Coffee bean. It taste good, kind of my stomach friendly low acidic type-of-coffee. I really enjoy the latte without any sugar added.
The vibes here quite cozy for having brunch or afternoon tea time. Not only is the coffee exceptional, but the food, ambiance, and service from the staff are also top-notch! For me, the texture of Martabak Cake is good, fluffy, but it has no real martabak flavor.

Once upon a time in Melaka
Did a short getaway to Malacca with the family staying at Imperial Heritage Boutique & Gourmet Hotel Melaka. It’s a nice service apartment located right across Dataran Pahlawan Melaka. Known for lots of great food and delicious Melaka durian chendol by the river. Lastly had a durian expedition at Eco Do Bem for delicious high quality durian and served by the generous lao ban. Overall great trip and hopefully to soon!#melaka #durian #travel

There is an old Qing Dynasty house in Malacca that is open to the public.
This ancient house from the Qing Dynasty looks like a time tunnel. It is very spectacular from the outside. This ancient house was built without a single nail. It is a real living witness of history. The treasures inside are so numerous that you can't count them on your fingers. It has collected 2,000 antiques from various dynasties, from exquisite porcelain, ancient calligraphy works, to precious cultural relics. Each one is a historical treasure. Here, you can appreciate those ancient treasures up close.
