Gunung Berembun is the southern-most peak of the Berembun mountain range in Negeri Sembilan. a month ago. To get to the waterfall, Lata Berembun: Standard is about 45mins hike. Trail is clear and easy. Lata Berembun nice for some camping and sightseeing while enjoying the river. It is also a nice place for picnic by the river. It is quite tough route to berembun then to telapak buruk B24 air crash for day pack trip. Must wear a good hiking shoes and bring sufficient water and insect repellent for the hike. This place is closed since December 2021 due to major landslide following heavy rains at the area.

Since Malaysia border still not open, i use this opportunity to travel around Malaysia. My choice are go hiking in one of famous mountain in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, the mountain offers a 5.73 km one-way trail that falls into the moderate to challenging category. While the first 3 kilometers are relatively gentle, the real test begins afterward, with a series of steep ascents that will push both your legs and endurance. Fortunately, the trail is well-marked from start to finish, making navigation straightforward and keeping the risk of getting lost to a minimum. Before reaching the summit, hikers will pass Lata Berembun, a beautiful stretch of rapids and natural pools hidden within the forest. Many hikers take the opportunity to cool off, relax, or enjoy a quick break here before tackling the more demanding second half of the climb. Reaching the summit is well worth the effort. The peak is relatively open and features both a trigonometric survey pillar (Berup) and a survey marker, making it a satisfying destination for peak collectors. On weekends, however, the summit can become quite crowded, so you may need a little patience if you're hoping to capture the perfect photo. If you're still craving more adventure, the journey doesn't have to end here. Additional trails continue beyond the summit, leading adventurous hikers towards the aircraft crash site and the legendary Mount Telapak Buruk, making Mount Berembun an excellent gateway to even bigger adventures. 💡 Hiking Tips · Purchase your hiking permit at the registration hut near the trailhead for RM5 per person and complete the required registration before starting your hike. · Expect plenty of uphill and downhill sections, especially after the first 3 kilometers, so pace yourself and stay hydrated. · Be cautious of bees around the summit, and avoid disturbing them. · Visit early in the morning if possible, as the summit often becomes crowded later in the day. Hidden deep inside Kenaboi State Park, Mount Besar Hantu stands at 1,462 metres and proudly holds the title as the highest mountain in Negeri Sembilan. But reaching the summit is far from easy. This mountain is known for its brutally long trek, around 20 km return, so proper fitness is seriously important before attempting this hike. The journey starts with a tiring 5 km logging trail, followed by another 5 km through jungle terrain with two river crossings before finally reaching the upper mountain section. One thing that makes this mountain memorable is the beautiful mossy forest that starts around KM9 all the way to the summit. The trail becomes cooler, greener, and covered with stunning moss everywhere, giving the hike a completely different atmosphere. But don’t get too comfortable! Once you pass Camp Orkid, the real suffering begins. The final 1 km+ climb to the peak is extremely steep and mentally exhausting despite the short distance. There are 10 checkpoints in total throughout the hike, and phone signal is almost completely unavailable here. Only certain telcos manage to get weak coverage near Camp Orkid. At the summit, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking mountain views alongside the remains of an old trigonometric station structure, a small but iconic landmark of Mount Besar Hantu. If your legs are completely destroyed during the descent, there’s also an option to hire the local Orang Asli (indigenous people) to transport hikers by motorcycle from the lower parking area section on the way down. Trust me, after this hike, that option will sound very tempting. Since the mountain is located inside a protected forest reserve, a hiking permit is required. Bukit Baru Sawa has gone viral in recent months of its easy reach for amazing sea of clouds! Located in Nefertiti Sembilan, Malaysia. It is a lesser known hiking spot than Gunung Datuk in N9. But recommended to come here if you’re looking for an easy hike but amazing view at the peak! It is around 2 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Pijoi Bahulu is a stall situated at the roadside (You will not miss the stall with their banner along the way)… The stall is said to be about 10 years old… You can actually watch the fresh Bahulu delicacies being prepared before your eyes on weekends and public holidays. These Bahulu delicacies are a tasty treat for locals in the morning or evening accompanied by coffee or tea, and personally for me, I love it when it is piping hot and fresh from the oven!!! This traditional delicacy is made up of only three ingredients namely eggs, sugar and flour, but the baking process is strenuous and time-consuming. Most Bahulu sellers nowadays would use the electric oven for faster and easier baking, however, for Pijoi Bahulu, they use the traditional way of tending to firewood, coconut husks and sand, so that the Bahulu will turn out chewier, more fragrant and has a longer shelf life… The make shift oven bakes the Bahulu to perfection in like one to two minutes… the fire burning hot with firewood used from langsat or rambutan tree…. The stall allows customers to try the Bahulu delicacies for free and then those interested can pick their own freshly baked Bahulu delicacies and purchase it for RM20 per container of 45 pieces!!! Kuala Klawang Customs Museum or Muzium Adat was opened with the aim of gathering the customs displays and historical artifacts from various ethnicities of Malaysia in one place - Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan A visit here is a great place to learn about the cultural diversity that Malaysia has to offer. Housed in a four-story building, with a giant replica of a Malay headdress at the top of its entrance, the Customs Museum / Muzium Adat consists of four galleries which are: Introduction of custom, Life cycle, Intellectual tradition, government and power and Pepatih customs on 4 levels. The ground floor exhibition is an introduction to Adat (customs) and the multiple races and ethnicities in Malaysia along with an overview of their customs. The galleries on the first and second floor is more on human Life Cycle; and Malaysian practices associated with birth, death, marriage, rituals and music, as well as displays of Intellectual Tradition; including historical artifacts and explanations of the Malay monarchy. The third floor gallery is dedicated to Adat Perpatih, which is a strong custom influence practiced in Negeri Sembilan. Kuala Klawang which is Jelebu's biggest town is about 30 km away from town of Seremban… it is a sleepy village but steep in tradition Kuala Klawang is known for its serene ambiance and natural beauty, making it an ideal destination for travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city for a little laid back escape in a small village and some nature… Another place you should’t miss visiting would be the Rumah Gadang Budi or Gadang Budi Traditional House that is said to be more than 140 years old…. This traditional wooden house was built without the use of any nails using authentic, traditional Minangkabau architecture and was once situated at Gunung Pasir, Sri Menanti… it was then purchased by a Tan Sri and the whole house relocated to Kampung Gagu, Kuala Klawang, completed with a gorgeous pond with a family of ducks…. The kids having fun with nature. Good for sensory session. Since most of the time in weekday they are trap in school and house. They enjoy it so much, and the aftermath is so great where the parents can have extra time eating pizza special made in Jelebu! This area of river is private property name Kebun Ibu, Sungai Pah in Jelebu. U have to pay RM 3 each person to park and use the toilet for change after having fun in river. The parking was quite small, but the scenery and privacy is worth the time and money 🌹. Will repeat again for own enjoyment and kids for having fun 😍. Its quite far from the city centre of jelebu. U can just search Sungai Pah, Jelebu and follow the waze! Hope u enjoy 😁
