It was a great experience overall. Took a fiery from New York city. It was a 20 minute ride to the Statue of Liberty island. It’s a great attraction for tourists and you can get lovely photos with the city skyline as well. We stayed there till sun set and managed to get great pictures with lovely views. Relax on a cruise ship IN NYC

Cruise ship was cruising by the famous New York City Skyline and of the the Statue of Liberty and not forgotten the Brooklyn Bridge New York City skyline was one of the most amazing and beautiful in the world I have seen . A view of the New York City skyline from the sea is a stunning view which I highly recommend

On the Hudson River in New York

The Hudson River is located in the state of New York, USA, with a total length of about 507 kilometers (315 miles). Today's weather is particularly comfortable. After finishing brunch, we aimlessly said we would go for a walk on the other side of the river. At 1:30 in the afternoon, we took a ferry from Paulus Hook Pier to New York City across the river. After getting off the ferry, we chatted and walked from Brookfield Palace Pier to the High Line. We bought a Harbs cake and took a short break on a chair in High Line Park. Around 5 o'clock, we continued walking to the Midtown 39th pier, took the ferry to Lincoln Center and returned to New Jersey, and finally took the NJ Transit train back home.

If you're visiting #newyorkcity, one thing I particularly enjoyed was crossing the Hudson River over into #newjersey where you can get some amazing photos of the Manhattan skyline from parks around the river in Weehawken. If you come around sunset, the city is lit perfectly and then you can watch the lights come up as darkness falls. #tripaway

Good midsize and affordable NYC hotel

Being in the New York City area, hotels can be super expensive. Hence you got to venture a bit further out for some more affordable and comfortable accomodation options. Being in Jersey City means you're a train ride away from Manhattan but this hotel isn't that inconvenient. Next to it there's a mall that has plenty of food options and lots of shops. You'll be right by the Holland tunnel and Newport station is just a few steps away. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable; plenty of space to place your suitcases which is a big contrast to something similar in Manhattan. There's plenty of desk space, as well as a sofa to lounge on. The bed was also very comfy. The lobby was spacious and had plenty of seating if you want to chill there. Staff were also very helpful, friendly and kind. A definite great stay and would choose this property again! #hotel #newyorkcity #travel #nj #staycation

Interesting science Center

#newyortrip The center does not offer many scientific experiences and it is mostly for kids. 30 dollars is definitely too much considering that most of the attractions inside require additional tickets. However, the planetarium is beautiful and it is definitely worth the 8 extra dollars. In general I would not recommend this to adults without kids. If you are looking for a weekend place for kids then this is the place. Location: near New York City, in jersey city. Parking: avail, $7 fee Activities: a lot of movies, live shows, and games. Restaurants: 2-3 options inside the building.
