Located in Kaiyo Town, Namikiri Fudoson is like a fantasy world. Passing through a forest of giant cedar trees and areas covered with thick moss, you will find two large cedar trees, a shrine, and a massive rock in front of the stone steps. According to legend, Kobo Daishi saw a large rock teetering on the edge of a cliff and inserted a pair of cedar chopsticks into the ground. The chopsticks grew into large trees that supported the rock.

Ending the journey at 'Tokushima Hoshin Dojo' The 'Haryugetsu' guesthouse where we stayed for the past two days is located by the sea, facing the vast Pacific Ocean. The guesthouse, built by the owner himself, has a rustic charm. You can reflect on life while listening to the sound of the waves. At noon, we went out to find food and took a stroll around the nearby Takegashima. There is a local marine museum where you can experience SUP or take a sightseeing boat to view the underwater scenery. Perhaps because it was a weekday, we didn't see any other tourists, so we didn't feel particularly inclined to visit. We walked along the road to the torii gate leading to Takejima Shrine. The sea breeze at the port was very pleasant, and sitting at the port, feeling the sea breeze, it felt like being surrounded by the freshness and tranquility of nature. It was as if all worries were blown away by the sea breeze, and the mind was purified and relaxed.
