It serves fried manju and anmitsu bean paste, which is not too sweet and is located across the street from Amasaisegen, which I really like. 📍Isegen The only monkfish specialty shop in Tokyo. Like Takemura, the building is also charming and lovely. Kiyoi Shoten, a popular Okinawa soba restaurant in Kanda I visit Okinawa several times a year, and the Okinawa soba here is as good as the local version. I arrived just before noon and waited in line for about 15 minutes before finally getting in, which shows how popular the restaurant is, even on a weekday. I ordered the Kiyoi soba, a half-seared pork rib bowl, and a single serving of fried pork ribs. First, I had the main course: the Kiyoi soba. The soup was a gentle bonito broth, with a flavor that would rank among the finest in Okinawa. As I continued to eat, the complex flavors of the grilled tomato and arasi (fish sashimi) pieces added a layer of texture, transforming the dish into a completely different experience. The noodles were straight, with the typical Okinawa soba texture and smooth texture, perfectly complementing the soup. The seasoned egg topping, similar to the seasoned boiled egg you'd find at a ramen restaurant, was also excellent on its own. The seared soki bowl brought out the sweetness and umami of the soki's fat by searing it, and it was absolutely delicious when topped with a little wasabi. Finally, the deep-fried soki was also excellent, with the rich soki seasoning providing a perfect marinade. The crispy exterior and the unique softness of cartilage were also excellent. We even finished off the complimentary mini juushi, making for a very satisfying and filling lunch. This is a rare place in Tokyo where you can enjoy high-quality Okinawa soba. I had some business in front of Kanda Station, so I stopped in at lunchtime. Attracted by the sign for the silver salmon set meal, I went in alone. There were many solo diners inside the restaurant. Customers continued to come in steadily while I was eating. There was also a group of customers in the back. For lunch, they offer a silver salmon set meal and a beef tongue set meal. I ordered the silver salmon without hesitation, but the beef tongue looked delicious as well. The rice is cooked in a pot, so it takes about 15 minutes to be served. The rice in this set meal is absolutely delicious. Because it's cooked in a pot, you can also enjoy the scorched rice, which is great. The silver salmon was plump and not too salty, allowing you to savor the natural flavor of the ingredients. I ate it with the grated daikon radish that was served on the side. The accompanying pickles were also refreshing and had a nice touch. I enjoyed changing up the flavor with the miso. The staff were energetic, and it was a very pleasant restaurant. The curry had a gentle flavor with fluffy eggs on top ☺️ I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Kanda, thanks to winning a campaign 🎉 The hotel is located at the edge of Kanda, making it very close to Bakurocho Station 😌 On the second day, I visited singleO to try their Lamingtons from the Expo and felt the history at Shoheibashi Bridge ✨ It was a relaxing trip nearby 😌 It’s also possible to visit as a day trip, so give it a try 🤗

Kingken, a Hiroshima-style dry dandan noodles restaurant under the Kanda railway tracks. Attracted by the unfamiliar term "Hiroshima-style," I decided to give it a try. The appearance is simple. As the name suggests, the dry dandan noodles are served to you, and you stir them thoroughly until the soup is completely absorbed (and intertwined with the noodles). With one bite, you'll be greeted by the refreshing flavor of sansho pepper and a tingling spiciness. However, the spiciness was milder than I expected, so I added more sansho pepper and chili peppers from the table. As you continue to eat, the spiciness gradually builds up on your tongue. After finishing the noodles, tossing rice with the remaining sauce, green onions, and meat miso is another delicious treat.
