Kas is located 3h away by shuttle from Dalaman airport. it’s easy get to Dalaman from Istanbul. it’s got an amazing vibe and a permanent digital nomad crowd. Kas could be an Ubud of Bali. it’s got all little cosy cafes with healthy food, amazing yoga community in various locations such as an old Greek amphitheater, or Kas yoga house where I also happened to rent an apartment. Although you can also take a public bus, you may need to transfer in Fethiye or Antalya. As for food, as shown in the picture, grilled fish and baked shrimp are recommended. The local Turkish kebabs are also worth a try. We went to Kas to see what this small turkish village was like,we arrived from Fethiye after 2 hours 15 minutes on a nice coach.. the village is small with cobbled streets ,lovely marina.it reminded us of a Greek village.. people were super friendly, lively in the evenings.. quietish during the day no beach but sunloungers are on wooden platforms of bars and restaurants.lots of fish restaurants beautiful sunsetsthere are a few Tombs around.. lots of street cats and a few street dogs...

When you’re driving along the D400 between Antalya and Fethiye, there are a few spot that I stopped by and I just have to share: 1. Heart Cave (Konul Plaji): This place is almost completely off the radar—perfect for some uninterrupted photos. Just be careful as the path can get a bit slippery. I parked the car on the roadside near a disposal bin and it was a quick stop. 2. Butterfly Valley: You can’t actually get down to the valley from here, but the view from the top is stunning. The water is the bluest blue you’ll ever see. When you spot P3, that’s your cue to pull over for a quick photo op. 3. Kaputaş Beach: I didn’t brave the heat to head down to the beach itself—it was a scorcher and pretty crowded—but it’s worth stopping just to take in the view from above. Parking might be a bit of a challenge during peak season, but you can usually find a spot on either side of the road. 4. Antiphellos Ancient Theatre in Kaş: This theatre is such a peaceful spot, facing the sea and almost always quiet. It’s not huge, but the view makes it worth a visit. I found parking along the roadside easily. 5. Kaş Town: After visiting the theatre, I checked into my hotel and wandered around Kaş. The town is full of vibrant bougainvillea, and every little alley seems to lead to the sea. If you’re there around sunset, make sure to take a dip in the ocean—it’s the perfect way to end the day. If you’re planning this trip, I’d suggest renting a car so you can stop at these hidden spots at your own pace. But if you prefer public transport, you can easily catch a bus from Antalya Terminali—look for Bati Antalya. As Turkey's favorite small town, Kas is really worth staying for one night and spending two days, where you can experience the local holiday vibe⛱️. 🏠Accommodation: Payam Hotel I put a lot of effort into picking the hotel, and it really lived up to expectations, it was perfect. It's only a 10-minute walk to the departure point for sea outings, and just 3 minutes away from the theater which is practically the backyard, while the restaurant faces the sea and is incredibly beautiful. Every room has a balcony that feels like a holiday town, opening up to flowers. There's also a private parking lot which is convenient for those driving. (Pictures 23 were taken at the hotel) 🌟Itinerary: Kas is a midway stop between Antalya and Fethiye, and a must-pass on the D400. We chartered a car from Antalya, and the advantage of chartering is that the driver is knowledgeable. He took us to many scenic spots along the way from Antalya to Kas (Pictures 4-7). We left Antalya at 10 am and arrived at the Kas hotel around 2 pm with several stops along the way. 🌟In the afternoon, take a walk around the town and take pictures📷. Many beaches are relaxing, and in the afternoon, book a boat for the next day's sea outing. The main activity in Kas is going out to sea🚢. We chose a company called Grand safari, which cost 1000 lira per person, booked in the evening at a stall by the sea, roughly in the middle. Later, I found that many people recommended it online. 🍒Must mention, you must buy cherries at the Kas stalls, they are cheap and delicious, a huge bag for about 30 yuan, much cheaper than in China. Even after the prices have doubled, the cost-performance ratio of sea view rooms is still very high, with an average of around 200 per person, you can stay in a very nice sea view room. Recommended self-driving route is Izmir-Antalya, which can be driven in 2 days, with a stopover in Kaş for one night.

Wherever I go, there are adorable animals keeping me company, watching the sunset with me, waiting for the bus, having breakfast, but actually, they seem to enjoy their lives even more than I do. My first day in Kaş wasn't very smooth, as I spent a lot of time looking for the bus station to the island, wasting a lot of time. The next day it rained, and I couldn't go out. But this place is so beautiful, every moment I see the scenery, I feel like I'm being healed. Moreover, here, every moment I feel so happy, and my ability to perceive happiness is getting stronger. Little things can make me happy for a long time. When I walk on the beach, feel the wind, and swing, I feel so happy.
