Amazing 7 waterfalls Izu Island
Come here at spring , if free entry , a perfect beautiful place to be. Hiking along the amazing 7 waterfalls and the forest is so refreshing. This place is worth a visit, it's peaceful here and the sound of the water relaxes the mind and heart. I suggest to bring a hand towel, extra tshirt and drink with you when you come, and also take a restroom first coz there is no restroom along the path. The pathways are well constructed but be prepared for the high and long stairways. This place is breathtaking..nature indeed is home. Will come here again for sure. One of the best hiking experience with nature.

Early Blossoms and Coastal Beauty: A Journey to Kawazu's Sakura Wonderland
#myhiddengems
Experiencing the early bloom of Kawazu's cherry blossoms was an absolute delight, a serene escape that will forever remain etched in my memory. The journey began with an exhilarating ride on the shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Atami, a route that showcases Japan's seamless blend of tradition and modernity. The swift 45-minute journey on the shinkansen whisked me away from the bustling heart of Tokyo, and as the train sped towards Atami, I found myself anticipating the beauty that lay ahead.
Upon arriving at Atami Station, I quickly transitioned to a rapid train bound for Kawazu, a scenic 30-minute journey that felt like an extension of the adventure. As the train wound its way through the Izu Peninsula, the landscapes began to unfold like a masterpiece. The rolling hills, lush and verdant, seemed to stretch endlessly, creating a sense of tranquility that was only heightened by the sight of the stunning coastlines. The waves gently lapping against the shore created a soothing rhythm that perfectly complemented the vibrant citrus orchards lining the route. The scent of citrus fruits occasionally wafted through the air, a refreshing reminder of the region's agricultural richness.
Kawazu is truly unique in its charm. Unlike most cherry blossoms that bloom in the spring, Kawazu's sakura trees begin to display their delicate pink flowers from late January, providing an early glimpse of spring even in the depths of winter. This early bloom, known as 'Kawazu-zakura,' is a sight to behold. The soft pink petals against the backdrop of winter's lingering chill create a striking contrast that is both mesmerizing and uplifting. The town of Kawazu itself is transformed into a floral paradise during this period, with streets lined with blooming sakura trees, creating a tunnel of pink that beckons visitors to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the beauty.
For those visiting Japan during the winter months, Kawazu offers a rare opportunity to experience the magic of sakura season ahead of schedule. The Izu Peninsula, with its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere, is the perfect setting to witness this early bloom. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a peaceful retreat, Kawazu's cherry blossoms are sure to leave you enchanted.

Izu Imai Hama Tokyu Hotel Walkthrough @ Izu.
I stayed at the Izu Imai Hama Tokyu Hotel in Shizuoka Prefecture, Izu.
The hotel is very spacious, not just the rooms, so I took a walk around the premises 🚶♀️.
In addition to bars and restaurants, the hotel also has a pool, a children's play area, and a library, making it a great spot to enjoy even without leaving the hotel!
The beach is right in front of the hotel, making it an ideal destination for a summer vacation with kids 🌻. I chose a plan that included breakfast, and the breakfast at the open restaurant was very delicious 🍚.

Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival
The Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is the earliest cherry blossom festival in Eastern Japan, usually blooming from early February to late February. It attracts about one million visitors each year. The petals of the Kawazu cherry blossoms are a vivid pink, making them perfect for photography. The festival route map extends from Kawazu Town to Mine Onsen, with about 800 Kawazu cherry trees lining both sides of the Aono River, creating a cherry blossom avenue approximately 4.2 kilometers long. Coupled with the yellow rapeseed flower fields along the embankments, it weaves a colorful tapestry of spring scenery. Along the way, there are many snack stalls, local crafts, and souvenirs, and at night, there are illumination events. There are also interesting rickshaw rides available for a unique flower-viewing experience.

Kawazu Town Sakura Check-in Success Quiet Slow Life.
I made a special trip to Kawazu to check in with the cherry blossoms, and it was really beautiful.
Since I can only go to Japan in February and wanted to see cherry blossoms, I chose to go to Kawazu Town in Tokyo to see them.
Kawazu Town, located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, is famous for its beautiful cherry blossom spots.
The cherry blossom season in Kawazu Town is very enchanting, with the entire town blooming with a brilliant sea of flowers every year.
Having the opportunity to witness the cherry blossoms in Kawazu Town with my own eyes was a beautiful and unforgettable journey.
As soon as I stepped into this town, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of pink and white cherry blossoms everywhere. Walking under the cherry trees and watching the petals fall should give a sense of tranquility and romance.
In addition, Kawazu Town has some other tourist attractions, which I also successfully checked in.
I arrived in Kawazu Town during the cherry blossom season, just in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom. The entire town was surrounded by cherry trees, forming a brilliant sea of flowers. I strolled along the Kawazu River, enjoying the beautiful scene of falling petals, feeling as if I were in a fairy tale world~

Kawazu Hakami Festival
#cherryblossom2024
Kawazu cherry blossom (also known as Kawazu-dzakura) is an early-flowering sakura that appears about a month earlier than the more common sakura variety Somei Yoshino. In the city where Kawazu-dzakura was discovered (Kawazu City, in case you didn't guess), an annual cherry blossom festival is held in February.
In honor of the cherry blossom, a festival is held in the city of Kawazu in Izu Prefecture, but usually this is just an opportunity to walk along the city river and admire the many blooming cherry trees. Special lunch boxes for picnics are being prepared, but they are not cheap.
In addition, night illumination will work from 18:00 to 21:00.
Sakura Blossom is a short walk from Kawazu Station. It will take about 2.5 hours by train from Tokyo Station if you take the Super View Odoriko Limited Express (¥6,050). If you have a JR Pass, you should take the shinkansen to Atami Station and transfer to the local line in the direction of Kawazu.
Other options with a transfer at Atami station are about ¥1,000 cheaper, but take an hour longer.

Japan Camping | The campsite embedded in the scenic area in Izu is too great
⛺️ I went to Izu for New Year's camping at the end of the year. After arriving, I found that this campsite was simply the right choice!
🏕 This campsite is in a public park, surrounded by mountains, named after the famous Seven Waterfalls in Izu, next to the Seven Waterfalls Scenic Area, you can clearly hear the sound of water flow all day! It can be said that it has all the beautiful landmarks!
🌾 This campsite is divided into two, divided into several areas, and there are houses that can be checked in with a sleeping bag. You can book according to your favorite area~
♨️ The campsite comes with an open-air hot spring, open 24 hours for free! But toiletries are not provided, and you can't use soap when bathing. Bathing is a coin-operated 200 yen for 4 minutes~
🌟 Here can provide camping equipment rental services, from chopsticks, towels and bath towels, to sleeping bags, electric blankets, etc., can be rented or bought~
🐠 There is also a fish pond in the campsite, you can rent fishing equipment, and the fish caught can be grilled and eaten directly~
🤔 Summarize the pros and cons!
👆 Advantages:
Located in the scenic area, the environment is beautiful and the air is fresh.
The wooden area will not be very dirty when it rains.
Comes with a 24-hour hot spring.
The equipment provided is complete.
👇 Disadvantages:
The kitchen (cleaning table) does not have hot water, but the water is sometimes warm when tested, and you can wear gloves if you need to wash pots and pans.
The hot spring and bathing area are separated. After coming out of the hot spring, you have to put on clothes and go out, and then go into the bathing room next to it, which feels a bit troublesome.
🤗 In summary, this campsite should be a 🔥 season in spring, summer and autumn, and there will be many reservations. There are fewer people in winter. There were quite a lot of people on the two days of our New Year's Eve, and there were very few people a day later. There are also several RVs parked here, in short, it feels like a good campsite, highly recommended~✌

Shizuoka Kawazu Cherry Blossom Viewing 🌸
Every year, I come to admire the cherry blossoms with my friends. We are too busy with work during normal times, so we choose to take vacations during the off-season to play~ It's really not lonely without friends, and I don't want to go back to the hotel. Even the background can be so beautiful in photos, thank you dear~ I really love this pink flower~ My girlish heart is overflowing. By the way, we can also go to other places to play. I fell in love with the quiet town of Kawanishi, Shizuoka.

From the end of February to the middle of March, it is the flowering period of the Izu Kawazu cherry blossoms in Japan. You can see the pink cherry blossoms along the Kawazu Flower Avenue. Although we are the flowering period of Kawazu Sakura, it is also very beautiful. Green plus pink, plus blue sky, is a good outing point. You can go to the nearby hot springs to enjoy a hot spring, watch the sea, listen to the tide, eat cherry blossom fish cake, very comfortable once. Japanese countryside hiking outing
Cathy..
The location of the peak hot spring spray soup park is at the end of the Hejin Sakura Avenue in Shizuoka, Japan. It can be found quickly along the street signs. The park is actually very small, with only one shelf and a small shop selling eggs. There will be a hot spring fountain in
30 minutes for 2 to 3 minutes.
The most impressive thing is the 150 yen two raw eggs that the small shop can buy. The clerk will knock the eggs into a small hole and will not flow out of the egg. Then take the wooden sign of your own number and put it in the hot spring pool for 12 minutes. The eggs cooked in the hot spring are very fragrant, and the egg yolk is sweet.

In the early spring of February, when the northern part of Japan was still snowing, Kawazu Sakura of the Izu Peninsula quietly dyed Kawazu-cho to pink.
What is the variety of Kawazu Sakura? Hejin Sakura belongs to the cold cherry. Its tree shape is tall, the color is bright and bright, and the flowering period is very early. As early as February, other cherry blossom varieties have not been seen, it has been opened, and the flowering period is long, lasting 20 days. Therefore, it is the earliest cherry blossom near Tokyo, and it is especially suitable for the cherry blossom festival that the Chinese people watched during the Spring Festival holiday in Japan.
Kawazu Sakura was discovered by the inhabitants of Kawazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan in 1955, and was planted in the riverside avenues to form the beautiful scenery of Kawazu, and the ancestors of Kawazu cherry blossoms in the picture~ This 600-year-old Sakura old man is still very lively and has a much earlier life than other Kawazu Sakura. Its location is in the middle of Kawazu Sakura Avenue, and you can find it by searching the Kawazu Sakura logs.
