Come here at spring , if free entry , a perfect beautiful place to be. Hiking along the amazing 7 waterfalls and the forest is so refreshing. This place is worth a visit, it's peaceful here and the sound of the water relaxes the mind and heart. I suggest to bring a hand towel, extra tshirt and drink with you when you come, and also take a restroom first coz there is no restroom along the path. The pathways are well constructed but be prepared for the high and long stairways. This place is breathtaking..nature indeed is home. Will come here again for sure. One of the best hiking experience with nature.

It’s never too early for Sakura

This is Kawazu station, in Shizuoka prefecture. This is the place to be if you want to see early blooming Sakura! It usually holds the kawazu Sakura matsuri during the end of February to early March. There is a long stretch of matsuri stalls where you can buy amazake, crab stick cake and many more~ You can even stay overnight to see the night illumination of the Sakura trees. At the end of the stretch, you can also enjoy the sea view. #japan #shizuoka

KAWAZU SAKURA FEST.

Kawazu is famous for the earliest cherry blossoms in the Kanto region, starting from the end of February to the beginning of March. Kawazu city is not far from Tokyo, about 2 40 minute train ride. Kawazu district is located on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture. Every year, the Kawazu Sakura Festival is held. The highlight here is the cherry blossoms that are pink and extra large. I stayed at the Izu Imai Hama Tokyu Hotel in Shizuoka Prefecture, Izu. The hotel is very spacious, not just the rooms, so I took a walk around the premises 🚶♀️. In addition to bars and restaurants, the hotel also has a pool, a children's play area, and a library, making it a great spot to enjoy even without leaving the hotel! The beach is right in front of the hotel, making it an ideal destination for a summer vacation with kids 🌻. Kawazu Seven Waterfalls

This is a beautiful nature area with walks along a stream with clear mountain water. Many of the falls are along the trail that is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Others are up a long staircase. There are restaurants and restrooms along parts of the path. Such a perfect beautiful place to be. Hiking along the amazing 7 waterfalls and the forest is so refreshing.
